Svago ZGR Plus Dual Power Zero Gravity Recliner - Midnight Black

Arrived two days early- Set up easy - More comfortable than I expected (glad I didn't pre-buy an extra cushion. (I apparently have the perfect amount for this chair). It actually gets the legs higher than the zero g position, if so desired.... I have been looking for this for 20+ years, and am thankful I had the ability to get this during the pandemic. In addition to relaxing in it I have been working from it- using a laptop Velcroed and bungy corded to a tilting adjustable over bed tray. With this zero g workstation for under $2300 I have been able to do full time telemedicine without my ankles swelling or my back hurting. The first night after being legs over head all day, not surprisingly, my head felt congested. I could go for less height, and once briefly a twinge of random pain led me to be cautious and hit "off" twice and it immediately begins sitting upright. I actually like the 3 vibrating zones- you cannot choose the program nor operate them independently or manually on this model, certainly a simple massage, but they are considerably stronger than most vibrating furniture I've tried. I find myself using it a couple of times daily. In summary, I'm very glad I purchased this. Providing it continues to work flawlessly for at least a few years it will have been well worth it. It is a great workstation if used in addition to the tilting adjustable table (to be reviewed separately) and a low adjustable polyethylene folding table. (Photo to follow)

I love this chair. It is so comfortable, attractive and soft. I really needed to get a power Zero Gravity chair because the ZG chair I have had for the past 20 years is manual (you have to push off with your feet and use your arms to help). In my old age, my back is getting more vulnerable and, that action, alone, was upsetting my back. So I knew I needed a power ZG chair. This was surprisingly simple to assemble. I was worried because, nowhere in the description, nor in the reviews, did anyone talk about assembly. But it was super easy, and the most time consuming part was moving the big box and dealing with the packaging. The other features are heat and massage. The heat is great to have. The massage is really more of a vibration, but I suppose it can help a little. This is a very attractive chair. If I wasn't a big time rocker (loving rocker chairs) I would use this chair full time.

Chair arrived during the timeframe stated via UPS. Chair is really nice and there was a slight issue in regards to the cable/plug not being with the chair (accidents happen) but Randy with My Home Theatre Seats (company that sends it) took care of the issue immediately and it arrive practically next day via FedEx! Randy emailed and texted me throughout the process and took care of everything and any worries I may have had. Awesome customer service! The chair itself is very comfortable and the heat it puts out in the lumbar is intense, in a good way. My back is finally getting pain relief. 😃 it’s been just weeks and I want to come back and say the heat works awesome Ian day back feels great! The two only thingsthat suck so far in this short time is why do I hear a hard plastic Rubbing sound when coming to a close.. sound of friction and questionable part that deals with moving daily..... and the remote. It’s annoying. It’s hard wired on a cord that pulls and there is no place/pocket for it to sit. It’s always falling into the edge and I have to dig it out. Would have been awesome if it was remote. Or attached on the side....

I have had it for a week. It is a quality made product that functions well and as described. Ordered it for my impending back surgery and have relied on it heavily. Ideally it would have one more adjustment ability but that is wishful thinking on my part in retrospect. Comfortable, functional and well built.

Unlike the traditional recliner, this chair does not allow changing the angle between the seat and back. So if you like to sit upright on occasion, forget it. It has 2 adjustments, body tilt and leg support angle. It is electrically powered, and moves slowly as alignment changes, unlike manual chairs which respond instantly. It obviously won't work if the power goes out. So if you are reclining and you need to get up to answer the phone, you might not make it in time. I wouldn't recommend this chair for short people. The front edge is 20" high in the home position. There are memories for 2 positions. The control has an on/off button, and if you turn it off, the chair returns to the home position. It has a vibrator which rotates through 3 positions, shoulder, mid and lower back, then whole body. It operates in spurts -- zzz -- zzz -- zzz that have nothing to do with the positions. There is a heater that will automatically turn off in 1 hour. There is a "wake up timer" that can be set from 1 to 6 hours in 1 hour increments. When time is up, the vibrator will start and the chair will move to home position. :)) We had no trouble unpacking and setting it up -- 2 people, less than 15 minutes. It weighs a little over 100 lbs. We are enjoying the chair, though it takes a little time to get used to it. When you tilt it back it seems like the Astronaut position for blast off! Very comfortable. I would like to have been able to adjust the angle between seat and back. BTW, delivery was annoying. It arrived at Saia's warehouse early Friday AM. I though, "Boy! we'll get it today!" By 2 PM it was still there and I called. It was scheduled to go out on Monday. Monday came and went. Tuesday, their little truck was full. It finally came Wednesday PM.
