This item is great. It does exactly what it says. It kept my house nice and cool all summer.

Amazing unit. Everything works as advertised, and it cools very very well! It is also pretty quiet when the fan is on the lowest setting.

I absolutely love this DREO Portable Air Conditioner. It’s honestly one of the best portable AC units I’ve owned to date. I use it in a finished basement, which has always been tricky to cool properly. In the past, I’ve struggled with other portable ACs not keeping up, especially because the exhaust hose itself becomes a heat source. Even when the unit is technically sized correctly, that hose can undo a lot of the cooling work. With previous models, I even bought insulation for the hose to try to compensate, but they still never quite delivered the performance they advertised. One of the features on this unit is the automatic swing for the air output. At first I wasn't getting the performance I expected and so I figured well I'll try the automatic swing and it made all the difference in the world. I had thought it was just kind of a gimmick, but as I read about what it's actually doing (from outside resources) I found why it makes the difference it does. This one actually does what it claims. It cools the space effectively and maintains the temperature without constantly feeling like it’s fighting a losing battle. The airflow is strong, the unit runs reliably, and it doesn’t feel like it’s straining all the time. I’ve only used it for one season so far, but up to this point it’s been wonderful. If it continues performing this way long term, it’ll easily be the best portable AC I’ve purchased. Based on my experience so far, I highly recommend it.

I've been suffering through heat waves in California the last few weeks, and I was dying to get some air conditioning installed in my room with a window kit. After trying five (yes, I was desperate and tried FIVE) portable A/C units, I ultimately settled on this one. The window kit was a bit annoying to get installed, but ended up being the most sturdy overall. Some of the other A/C units claimed to get down to ~60F, but they all honestly kinda sucked and typically could get my room down to ~68F. This unit is rated for 65F, and has gotten my room down to 63F according to my room thermometer. I've been running this thing a lot, and I'm in an area that typically ranges in the 50-70% humidity range. I haven't had to drain it at all, which has been another huge win in my book. This thing has connected to the WiFi and STAYED CONNECTED. My smart home setup is Google Home, and it has handled commands like, "set the A/C to sleep mode", "set the A/C to 68 degrees", "turn the A/C off" like a charm. Out of all the units, this one was DEFINITELY the quietest. The other Air Conditioning units I used were really loud when the compressor would toggle on and off. I felt like the other units were impossible to sleep next to and leave on over night. While this has the sound level of a fan running on max speed, it's the most tolerable out of all the other units Out of all the units I got, it feels like it was the largest and perhaps the heaviest main unit overall, but I made it work. If you're shopping around and comparing units, as of October 2024, this is absolutely the one to get!

I'm really pleased with this unit so far. For its size it has an amazing amount of cooling capacity. For my setup I have a drain that goes outside the house. There is a lot of water condensation, something to consider when setting it up.

Excellent portable AC. I replaced my black and decker unit with a Dreo and I’m so glad I did. The main differences were the easy air hose installation and the water drainage. The black and decker required daily drainage from all the water build up of overnight use. On the contrary, I’ve only had to drain water from the Dreo once in a whole month so far. I definitely recommend this unit to everyone. Their floor fans are great too.

Love this A/C! Cools quickly, takes out the humidity in my apartment quickly, and the fan works great as well! Completely satisfied!

Worked so well this past summer. So hot in my apartment, but immediately cools to a comfortable temp. Window kit set up in my dining room and cools kitchen, dining, and living room. Heavy and sturdy. Materials feel durable. Remote works great and can control from my phone so I man walk into a cool house or keeps pets cool while away. Can keep an eye on indoor temp via the app as well. So glad I splurged on this brand. Ended up buying Dreo tower fans for bedrooms and they are awesome too. Believe the high ranked reviews, this brand is better than the usual big names.
