Will this detect propane gas? Lookin to install in my travel trailer

no, you will need a separate detector for that. LP gas is detected near the floor of a RV. Carbon Monoxide rises and is detected near the ceiling. My Travel Trailer had a carbon monoxide detector near the bed room on the wall near the ceiling, a LP detector in the kitchen near the floor and a smoke detector on the ceiling between the kitchen and living area.

This detector cannot be used if temperatures are below 40f or above 100f. what detectors are available that can be used below 40f and above 100f?

If you're using this in a camper/trailer etc- you should keep it in your home when the camper/trailer is in storage not being used. Consistent extreme temps can affect the sensors, components & battery life.

is this detector certified for use in rv's ?

I see RV's use unconditioned CO detectors that aren't temperature controlled. I wouldn't use it in an RV.

Can I use it as a portable co detector? Going on a trip from one hotel to another and never mounting it
