Tbh, I was a little hesitant about buying this because the accordion style just looked like it wouldn't be that sturdy, however I am pleasantly surprised how sturdy it actually is. This can accommodate multiple wet articles of clothing without sagging, so I would definitely recommend this product. My only critique would be that it comes with minimal instructions, so if you're not good with DIY, you may be a bit puzzled about how to install this so I'll give you some advice that worked for me. First of all, I ordered the larger 32" version so that it lined up with the wood studs on my wall (which are usually 16 inches on center, so having a 32-in version makes so much sense). If you don't have a stud finder, you should purchase one to locate the studs behind your wall. I first secured one bracket to a stud, using a small bubble level to make sure it is perfectly vertical. Since it was going into the stud directly, I did not need the wall anchors that are supplied. I then used a larger bubble level, laying it on top of the bracket that I just installed, and put a mark 32 in away (to Mark where the top of the other bracket needs to go). I then installed the hanger into the bracket that I already secured onto the wall already, and temporarily put the other bracket on the other end, holding it up to the mark on the wall, and then outlining the top bottom inside of the bracket, so I know exactly where I'm installing the second bracket. I then removed the hanger from the brackets and secured the other bracket onto the wall, within the marks that I just created. This worked perfectly, and is very secure. I hope this helps augment the instructions that are supplied.

I love this! I have it hanging in my laundry room so when I need to hang clothing to dry it’s right there. It is easily collapsible so it doesn’t stick out and I don’t bump into it when I’m not using it. I would highly recommend.

We have two of these. Works well for setting clothes to dry and folds up nicely flat against wall, saving space.

I studied so many versions of this on Amazon and am glad I picked this one. The ability to adjust the width was very useful because, although I measured the space ahead of time, placing it in real life was revealing and I appreciated that I could make adjustments in situ. This is a very useful addition to my laundry room. I still have a couple of stand alone drying racks for long garments but this wall mounted drying rack meets most of my day to day laundry needs and I love that it is easy to tuck it away when not in use.

Installed it on the garage wall to hang wet towels before throwing them in the dirty clothes hamper. Well-made product. Easy installation. I lucked out with the location and was able to attach into studs. Pre-drilled holes are about 32" apart. Just measure the spacing between the two holes and then install the two brackets using one screw in the top hole of each bracket. Tighten firmly enough to allow a bit of movement. Slide the hanger in and out a couple of time to check/adjust the fit and then screw in the two bottom screws. If for some reason, you're unable to attach it directly to studs, use better quality wall anchors than the ones included with the product. I recommend Toggler anchors, screw anchors, or anchors that expand being the sheetrock.
