As a person with sensitive skin, I’m generally wary of retinol products. They tend to dry my skin no matter how careful I am. But the lines around my eyes have become more pronounced lately, and my current collection of eye creams and serums (I have many lol), while moisturizing, weren’t doing much to address this. I’ve had really good experiences with the Eight Saints line, so when I saw that they had a retinol eye cream, I felt it was worth a try. I really like the consistency of this cream-it’s light and feels luxurious and soothing. A little goes a long way, so you don’t need much. It sinks right into the skin, and I felt a slightly cooling sensation. Very soothing. Instructions say to use it a few times a week, but I tried it two nights in a row - and it did not dry my skin at all! This is huge for me. Even better, after just a week of use I see some softening of the lines around my eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing what consistent use over time will do. Five stars - Highly recommend!!

Ever since I began using Eight Saints, I have stopped using almost all other products. I like that everything is natural and that the ingredients are highly effective. I couldn’t believe the difference it made when I put together a regimen! It doesn’t have to be difficult because their products are so comprehensive. I really like all of their eye creams, but especially this one because retinol is really a superstar product and so important for antiaging. The interesting thing is that I have very sensitive skin and have never been able to use retinol until the Eight Saints products! (And I have tried a bunch of other products! (They would always work in the beginning, but then they would dry out my skin, and I would start breaking out.). I am not sure how they do it, but their retinol products are both effective and gentle. I don’t think it has much of a scent or if there is, it is natural and light. I also think that the consistency of the product is perfect because it is creamy enough to feel moisturizing, but not heavy. It’s a home run and I will keep using it!

Before I talk about this eye cream, I want to talk a little bit about the company Eight Saints. I have never really prioritized natural skincare. I have always just wanted products that work. I kept seeing ads for their discovery kit that contains an assortment of products to try. I decided to give it a shot. I upgraded to the larger kit. I really really did not expect to fall in love with these products. I am very sensitive to smells…even most natural products I have used have bothered me. All of these products have light and pleasant scents that do not bother me at all…some I even can’t get enough of. Some products are also unscented. I loved every single one I tried. Luscious is the word that comes to mind. They left my face feeling better than it ever has. And we can’t forget that these products are powered by nature and made in the US. So now onto the eye cream. I have slowly replaced all of my skin care with Eight Saints. And then I kept going…I may have a problem. After turning 40, I have started to notice some fine lines around my eyes I didn’t have. When I saw this cream, I knew I needed to make it a priority. As I said before, all the products just feel luscious, and this is no exception. It’s such a nice thick cream. It has an off white color. It absorbs well and leaves behind no greasiness. It says it is unscented, yet I can detect a very slight scent maybe from the ingredients themselves, but has no offensive odor. I hate putting on strongly perfumed skin care and trying to sleep. I also love that packaging. Like most of the other products I have gotten, it comes in a glass container which just feels more luxurious. It contains the best and natural ingredients. Most importantly it has Retinol - to penetrates below the skin to speed up cell turnover and stimulate collagen production. Plus Hyaluronic Acid to keep skin plump and super hydrated. Followed by Vitamin B5 to help calm and soothe skin, while also keeping skin hydrated. Finally, Green Tea - which stops pollution from prematurely aging skin by neutralizing free radicals. Together these ingredients stimulate collagen production to smooth out crow's feet and fine lines. Improve skin elasticity for a tighter, more youthful appearance. Speed up cell turnover to fade dark circles and improve skin tone. As for the price, this one has a bigger sticker shock than the others. But it only rates a tiny dab. I use this one at night and the All In Eye cream during the day.
