Excedes Expectations, +Project Suggestion
Fantastic drive worth every penny. I was surprised when I first saw the price when considering purchasing, then later surprised again by the build quality and R/W speed. Build: The product is very durable and has held up to over 2 years of abuse on my keychain. Performance: The read/write speed on this drive is great, considerably faster than any USB 2.0 device. I do freelance design, and I use this regularly for large file-drops to or from clients. It's nice not having to wait around for the transfer to complete. Fun Experiment: I recently bought two more of these drives and configured them as a RAID 0 partition to get a little more speed, works like a charm(doubles performance) and has been recognized by every computer I've plugged it into. A 64GB+ drive with R/W ~ 300/200 that fits in your pocket for ~$30? Just try it. NOTE: there is room for error with RAID 0, so make sure you have a back-up of whatever you're putting onto the setup. Con(but not really): This thing is tiny, it went missing on a couple occasions when not on my keychain. Definitely attach it to something like your keys or a lanyard if you don't want to loose it.

Great low-profile option for Tesla Sentry-cam storage drive
Transcend 32GB JetFlash 710 USB 3.1/3.0 Flash Drive: $10.99 at the time of review I was an early adopter of the Model 3 electric car from Tesla. I pre-ordered mine the very first day I could and waited a couple of years for delivery. And you know what? I LOVE it! It was worth every minute of wait and penny of the price. After a little while Tesla enabled the built in cameras to be used as a dash cam to protect you while you drive. But in order to use it, you have to plug a USB drive in to store the video files. I chose this drive because it is tiny. I didn’t want the drive I used to stick out too much for fear that something in that compartment would get stuck on it and break it. Well, I got what I asked for. This little fella is *tiny* *What I liked*: As I just mentioned, it fit my desire for a tiny little drive that didn’t take up too much room. It only stuck out like ⅔ of an inch! It worked perfectly for my needs. I just stuck it in the USB port and the car recognized it, formatted it, and started to record to it on my first drive after install. *What I didn't like*: Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like about it was the storage capacity, and that’s not its fault. As it turns out I should have just bought the 64GB version. *The Bottom Line:* This is great drive to record videos to in a Tesla. It’s also tiny enough that if you wanted to keep it on your keychain to have a portable drive, you wouldn’t even notice it’s there. For just over $10 bucks (or just under $15 for the 64GB version), this is a total five stars out of five. I’d definitely buy it over again.

Great USB storage device with a minor flaw in its design.
Pros: As a portable USB storage device, this works perfectly. Read/Write speeds are as advertised and formatting it to work with your operating system is a breeze and takes very little time. Mounting it the first time resulted in no response from the OS, but who knows, maybe I didn't plug it in correctly? However, it's been working fine since. This aspect of the USB drive works perfectly now. It is built extremely well and I feel that it's dust/shock resistance is a real statement to it's build quality - I believe it after dropping my keys with this thing attached quite a few times. Nothing seems cheap about the construction, considering the price, however the laser-etched logo on one side is a tad blurry, not that you want to be staring at a logo while using it. It serves its purpose as branding and if this is what helps keeps a great product like this stay cheap, by all means, keep doing it. Faster read/write performance would be a key area of interest for me. Cons: Now to a negative, and the only negative: it's keychain functionality. Unless you have a perfect circle (and I DON'T mean the keychain's loop that from its construction, I mean the actual width of metal going through the loop of the USB drive), it stands up right and will not move unless you move it to a thinner part of the ring. It can make for uncomfortable juggling your keys in your pocket, as well as sometimes even making it difficult to grab one of the keys themselves. This isn't a deal breaker for me, because having storage on you at all times is useful. I just wish there was more real estate for keychain rings to move around without a secondary, smaller key ring to remove the problem.

A fast, small & efficient flash drive.
Older USB storage is woefully outrun by this small key-chain-able drive. The three attributes I was looking for: Sturdy: I can throw in the briefcase / purse and not worry about bending, breaking, or getting pulled off the keychain. The construction is completely of metal and is the size of the USB plug itself. There is nothing exposed to get hurt while living on your keychain (though I'd gather dunking it in water may compromise its utility). Size: I carry this everywhere so I have access to all of my files around campus. It is smaller than my keys and is exceptionally light weight. Unlike the previous USB drive, this one IS so small it does not feel like it is there getting in the way of my keys when I'm fumbling at my office door. Performance: I show some youtube clips for class and some of them are quite large. I only have 50 minutes for class and don't want to be waiting for a video to load. Also, there are times when I've found the perfect example of X or Y just before class and have 2 minutes to move 125mb from my computer to the drive. The previous drive would take 4-5 minutes (yep that one was old!). This drive accepts 125mb in a matter of seconds. As for the amount of space, I have yet to fill up the 16gb from the previous drive, so I stuck with the 16gb as the price point was just right. I'd highly recommend this drive. It does not come with any metal keychain loops and the hoop through which you attach it to your key ring is somewhat small so you may wish to invest in a tiny keyring to attach it to your larger loop.

Good little drive, Doesn't overheat.
Seems like a great little flash drive. Fast, tiny, and I haven't seen many overheating issues like with most small USB 3.0 drives. I won't post the benchmarks here, but you can see a screenshot of the results at the end of this review. During the 16GB test, the drive did heat up during the sequential read/write section. From touch, I would estimate the temperature of the drive to be about 45C during that section. For electronics, I consider this to be warm, but by no means anything I should be concerned about. I would say that it throttled, though. During the first test, which was a 4GB test, the write speeds were very high; 78MB/s. But in the longer test, this was much lower at 31MB/s. I consider this to be a good thing, as I'd rather have my drive last longer than be fast and overheat. Full benchmarks in the photo section. Also, I really liked the packaging. It was very easy to open, as it was just perforated cardboard on the back of the packaging. I have a picture of this posted. I found a key ring to put on it, and yes, it has to be a thin one or else the ring will be a bit tight, but the one I found works just fine with this drive. For the price, this is a really solid drive. If anything happens in the future, I'll post it below here.

Excellent drive
I use this for Pioneer XDJs (digital turntables). While I had issues with other drives after a couple hours I’ve had zero with this one. May end up buying a couple more. Pros - 32gb size is the largest that can be “natively” formatted as fat32 in windows, which is what these XDJs require - all metal case dissipates heat - no cap to lose - the eyelet is offset which makes it easy to tell which way is up so none of that try one direction, rotate and try other direction, rotate and try the direction it was when you first tried but now it works. - usb 3 speeds which make transfers from pc go fast (the XDJs just use USB 2 so it doesn’t care) Cons - the eyelet at the top is pretty flat and would be hard to get on a keychain on it’s own. I solved this by getting a small (approx 1/2”) split ring I put on this and then attached to keyring with a small s-biner that locks closed - short (can be a plus or minus) which in my case makes it more difficult to keep track of and I’m always worried I’ll lose it. It’s not as short as others where it only sticks out 1/8” but it still only sticks out 1/2” maybe at most. Would have preferred it to be a bit longer to have better heat disspation and be easier to notice. At least it doesn’t cost much to replace.

Loved this little speed-demon
Loved this little speed-demon. Super fast, works great, ran a little hot but that was to be expected... the bummer part was discovered that the durability leaves something to be desired. It's designed to be on a keychain... but despite using the very nice Freekey system to give it it's own link on my keychain, over the course of about a month or two the metal interface portion (where you insert into the computer's USB port) became warped and bent, apparently from resting against/getting sandwiched between my keys in my pocket... and now I can no longer use it. For the price it's a good deal... I just didn't expect the metal to be so soft and durability to be such an issue. Really bummed... it was poised to be a fantastic little tool for me, but ended up being just another throw-away flash drive. 5 stars for when it worked/wasn't damaged, 3 stars for the the lack of durability at the end.

Who Says that Large Storage USB 3.0 Keys Need to Be Expensive?
This miniature USB 3.0 key is quite good, when one considers the cost. It is small enough that you have to be careful about loosing it, and so I assume most people will put this on a keychain or a lanyard, etc, because if you stick it in your pocket, it may well get lost. It has no moving parts, which is a real plus, and it fits snugly into your USB port (no slop or play in the fitting). At 64Gb, its large enough to do a lot of things with, and at its price point, it really cant be beat. Transfer speeds are very good on read, and reasonably good on write (my Black Magic Speed test reports about 38Mb/s on writes, and about 60 Mb/s for reads). Note, too, that, if you are buying a device of this storage size, you are probably planning on copying lots of huge files to it, and that can be a problem due to the limitations of the FAT file system. The solution? Easy. Just format the stick as "exFAT," and you'll be able to copy files of nearly any size to it, and both Macs an PCs will be able to read them. So, comparing price, storage size, transfer speed, and a one-piece design, this is an easy five star item.

Worth it for the speed, size and look
Below are compared benchmarks. It's deff worth the 18$ as long as you have usb 3.0 ports. It's very small and impressive looking. You can really see how much faster 3.0 is to 2.0 even on the same flash but compared to a very fast 2.0 flash you get 26mb/s vs 15.8 so its still worth to buy vs. a high end usb 2.0 flash and you are future proof. crystal disk mark 6 seq. read.138.8mb/s write. 49.7mb/s USB2.0 32.2 - 26.08 7.12 - 1.4 4.16 - 0.93 4.2 - 1.4 4.26 - 1.078 6.6 - 1.3 4.05 - 1.05 Wow my comp hard drive only does 53 and 53 lol usb 2.0 Patriot Xporter XT Rage 16gb does: read.30mb/s write.15.8mb/s 5.86 - 0.019 6.006 - 0.011 5.28 - 0.024

Speicher Stick
