I bought this Dyson with great enthusiasm and from the first moment it worked PERFECTLY. It has incredible power, leaves the hair beautiful and you can totally see the quality. I loved it from the first use. Unfortunately, after about two uses, the equipment stopped working properly and broke. I was quite worried because it's a big investment, but I decided to contact Amazon customer service... and honestly, it was an excellent experience! The process was super fast, very easy, and they sent me a replacement without complications. Now I have the new one and it's working wonderfully, just like the first one at the beginning: powerful, efficient and high quality. So although I had a problem with the first unit, Amazon's attention was excellent and the product when it works well (like this new one) is really worth it.

I decided to try the Dyson before the Shark or Babyliss bc it’s supposed to be the best, if I didn’t try it first I would always wonder if it was better. Well, it’s not. I have returned the Dyson and purchased now the Shark Flex and the results are much better. The curling wand on the Dyson is terrible - all of the air flow left my hair looking stringy, the indentations in the wand leave ripples in your hair and the curls did not even hold until I was able to get all of my hair curled. The air flow as a part of the Coanda effect also left small knots in my hair. Because the wands could not perform, I didn’t try the other attachments so that I could return with ease. I tried both the I.d. curl in the app and curling on my own. You can see in the photo after two hours of curling and recurling, letting them fully cool, using medium hold product and combing out. Hardly any curl or body to my hair. I can accomplish 10x the results with my hair dryer, round brush and classic wand. It is also not dual voltage which other competitors such as Shark provide. I do appreciate that they have just one wand and you can change directions as opposed to two wands like competitors. I also thought the placement of buttons on the Dyson was my intuitive and ergonomic compared to competitors. At this price point there should not be a single aspect of this tool which under performs. Many people have success with this tool and so you may too but highly recommend to try carefully so that you’re able to return if it’s not a good fit for your hair.

The brush attachment broke on my 2nd use. Amazon did great in getting it replaced for me. The Dyson is great, no heat damage whatsoever and makes the time of getting your hair done soooo quick! You'll be ready in less than 20 minutes

Works really well, I will say the price is a bit outrageous but I feel like compared to my other blowout tools, this is game changer in how much time it saves and how much better it is on my hair. If you can shell out $$$ this is for you. I will say the ID part of it literally makes so difference. It’s just an app you have to download and it presets the heat and cool setting only for curls. If you’re debating between the standard model and this one, just go with the standard model

Se lo compre a mi esposa, porq lo queria hace 7 años, el paquete y los materiales son de primera calidad. Somos de argentina y estaba muy ansiosa por usar su secador y lo conectamos a nuestra corriente sin saber q era 110v el voltaje de EEUU, aca es 220v, por suerte no se quemo, pero tuvimos q comprar un transformador convertidor de 110 a 220v, muy pesado y caro la verdad, nos deja sin poder darle movilidad a otros paises....lo mejor para europa y latino america, es comprar esta Dyson en europa, que esta similar en precio pero ya tiene 220v.

I gave it to my mother in law as her bday gift she only used for 3 months and it stopped working, she reached out to costumer service and they are sending a new one. Make sure if you buy it to register for the warranty in case you have the same issue. She loved it so much and told me costumer service for dyson was amazing
