Mild Brick Cheese - 6 Pound Loaf

I have ordered from Shullsburg Cheese Store on multiple occasions and the customer service is outstanding. I had an issue not with the company, but the post office, and within hours, not days, I had an email from Shullsburg Cheese Store with a solution. Thank you for your quick resolution to my problem. I grew up near Detroit and was a regular customer at the original Buddy's Pizza and loved their pizza. My 2020 resolution was to learn how to make Detroit style pizza but in order to make real Detroit pizza you have to use brick cheese. The way it melts is beyond comparison to substitutes. The taste is incredible and makes the pizza special. It is pricey but if you break down the price per pizza it is less expensive then mediocre delivery pizza. Shullsburg Cheese Store has made pizza and poker night a big hit at my house especially during this period of confinement. A little bit of bourbon also helps!

Good brick cheese but gets quite expensive with shipping.

This cheese is good on everything or eaten alone. Grilled cheese egg sandwiches and more. Melts easily and has a wonderful creamy texture. A sample was given to me by a previously purchaser and I was hooked. Expensive but freeze it in sections and enjoy it for a long time.

If you want real Detroit pizza, you’re gonna have to bite the bullet, and pay for the shipping on this excellent cheese. I had tried many combinations and cheeses, but none came close (except maybe butterkase, but that was really expensive). This is the real deal. Very well packaged in a thermal bag with three chiller bags, and even a cute hand written note. Once received, I portioned it out, and vacuumed sealed it - it will keep for a really long time like this. Totally worth every penny! EDIT: Second order as good as the first. Ordered on Monday, arrived Wednesday. I immediately portion it out into 6 poundish portions, and Food Saver each one. They will keep for a few months vacuumed sealed. I will continue to be a repeat customer!

The cheese is great, especially for Detriot style pizza. The shipping and packaging is excellent. However the cheese weighed 5.5 lbs not 6 lbs. If there is variation in weight that should be listed clearly.

I grew up in Michigan and brick was readily available. Live on the West coast now and this cheese isn’t’t sold here. So happy to be able to order this now! Great tasting cheese, makes all the difference when used in my cooking.

The cheese was great, just as I remembered it growing up. Unable to find it in stores in my area so it is a plus that I can get brick cheese online! The cheese was packages well and arrived cold . I will definitely order from Shullsburg again!

I hate the fact that I must order this from Wisconsin. (I live in Michigan) This is just the BEST for pizza. I make homemade pizzas from scratch on Friday nights. I ran out of this for 2 weeks and the pizza just wasn't as tasty.
