It's been working great all summer long to keep the algae from building up. Haven't really used the light-up function so not sure how that does.

Works well, nice and bright, pool is not clear 24/7 but we needs to clean up some algae so maybe it will now😃

Light stopped working after first night. Not even sure if the ionizer is working. There is no way to tell. I can’t tell if it’s on or off. Not happy with it. I let it charge well over five hours of pure sun and it says 4-5 hours. So prolly worth it to go with another brand. I have not had this that long. This is after me cleaning it. I guess it was working. Light still doesn’t work after first night. That spring used to be “copper” too. I’ve never seen copper do anything like this. Along with that copper rod. I have a piece of copper in the skimmer. It still looks like copper. Not copper with a disease.

Water is clean but the light doesn’t work. It has been in the pool in direct sunlight for a week so it should be good to go but no light at all, I’m not surprised though because the button is “sealed” with a dot of hot glue.

Works great

On the plus side: lots of necessary goodies included, smart to put the light button on top instead of underneath. These ionizers work very well; we've been using them for the last few years here in SW Florida. We have a saltwater chlorinator and the ionizers are a perfect complement. On the minus side: The lights on the unit don't work. That was my sole reason for purchasing this particular ionizer, so it's very disappointing. Already have a few units without lights to rotate usage while cleaning. Only giving as many as 3 stars because I know the units work, otherwise I'd rate it at 1 star due to nonfunctioning lights.
