Wilton Christmas Red Concentrated Gel Icing Color, 1 oz

I used this Wilton Christmas X-Mas Icing Color for holiday cookies and frosting, and it worked perfectly. The color is rich and vibrant, and you only need a small amount to get a deep festive red without making the icing too runny. It mixed evenly, didn’t affect the taste, and gave my desserts a professional looking finish. The bottle lasts a long time since a little goes a long way. I would definitely buy it again for Christmas baking and recommend it to anyone decorating cookies, cakes, or cupcakes.

Extremely pigmented but hard to take out, maybe needs a spoon but great for royal icing coloring

I've tried to submit this problem through the Returns thread, but it won't give me a Submit window. I tried again to return/replace the item. This time I was able to go further in the process and a replacement is on the way. Wilton dyes are great and I'm glad I'll be able to use this next one and it won't spill or dry out since it will have a lid.

I used quite a bit of the gel and it still made bright pink (not red). It had no problem dying my hand and countertop, so be careful. I ended up throwing it out because it had a really bad taste. I wouldn’t use this for something that is being consumed, but should be ok if used in something not edible.

This icing color set is easy to use for cookies and cakes. The red and green are strong enough after mixing, and a small amount already gives good color. The jars are not very big, but enough for home baking in holiday season. The texture is a little thick, so need to stir well. It makes the decoration look nice, but it is not natural color.

Beautiful color! Works well and thins out to the cutest pink. I used half a teaspoon in my frosting and it turned into a wonderful shade of pink.
