Todd Parr's bestselling books have reminded kids to embrace differences, to be thankful, to love one another, and to be themselves. It's Okay to Make Mistakes embraces life's happy accidents, the mistakes and mess-ups that can lead to self discovery. Todd Parr brings a timely theme to life with his signature bold, kid-friendly illustrations and a passion for making readers feel good about themselves, encouraging them to try new things, experiment, and dare to explore new paths. From coloring outside the lines and creating a unique piece of art to forgetting an umbrella but making a new friend, each page offers a kid-friendly take on the importance of taking chances, trying new things, and embracing life, mistakes and all. Review: Great book for building a child's self confidence. - The book is great for building a child's confidence. It's particularly good for children who struggle with life skills and/or learning to make them feel OK about getting things mixed up or not knowing what to do. The book explained in really simple terms why its OK to make mistakes and that even adults make mistakes - shock, horror! The only page I didn't like was the one saying it was OK to spill your milk. This is because we're trying to get him to pay more attention when eating and drinking. no prob though. We just skip that page. Review: Superb. I love Todd Parr's style - Initial read through confirms that this will be a superb book for me to use with children. The main message is that mistakes can be funny and harmless, nothing to be stressed about. Great things can come from mistakes. A real confidence booster in a very subtle way.

Great addition to any kids home library
These books by Todd are ALL fantastic additions to any families home library. Our daughter loves them and it has helped her decide that Mama and Dad must know what they are talking about....if it’s in a Todd Parr book 😆
