HOVERAir X1 PRO Basic Combo, 4K Action Flying Camera, Foldable Drone

UPDATE: The seller contacted me swiftly and they made things right. I had purchased a repair kit directly from them, and completed repairs. The kit itself deserves 5 stars. Well packaged and everything needed was included. I have since been flying and putting the Hover through all it's flight modes. Very impressive. I have ordered the Beacon and Joystick set, and can't wait to integrate them into my flying. I've already convinced my daughter to get one for her naturalist video program at the arboretum where she works. I started with a Phantom in 2013, and had been using that brand since. This is definitely a better experience. I've been a UAS Remote Pilot for more than 5 years, and can highly recommend this drone. ( I fell for the hype. Despite their claims that its almost indestructible, the drone hit a tree branch, shut off, and fell 20 ft to a lawn. Of course it broke. So much for obstacle avoidance. Over 20 bucks for a repair kit. I had less than 10 short flights just trying it out, and now I wait for repairs. I've owned 6 drones, and this is the first to fail like this. Lesson learned. )

This drone worked really well for a short time. The first few months when I would use the self fly it was great and could send it pretty far. Now basically every time I fly it it disconnects from my phone. I reached out to hover and their advice was the "try a different phone" or maybe it was the surrounding area. However it never disconnected in the past. It also doesn't fly back and just stays up in the air. I've been lucky to get my phone to reconnect from below but I don't know how many more times I'll be lucky. I get scared to fly it where I can't stand under it anymore incase that happens. I prob wouldn't reccomend unless you only want to use the self fly modes. I love the size of it for backpacking but wish it worked better.

Doesn't connect to my android. I'm so disappointed. I have a pixel 9 no reason it shouldn't work. Maybe I have a lemon, but the product is not working.Update on this device. If you are having issues connecting to your phone, be sure your phone is not connected to any other device. In my case I was in doors trying to connect my phone to the drone, however I kept getting error messages. Once I disconnected my phone from my indoor wifi, my phone connected to the drone with no problem, and I have not had any issues since I was abe to connect. Try this if you are having issues.

The drone operates flawlessly, captures crisp video footage, and boasts an exceptionally user-friendly interface. Notably, I encountered a minor discrepancy with the product’s documentation. While the drone is advertised to include three batteries, it was only supplied with two. However, the customer service team responded promptly and promptly dispatched a complimentary replacement battery, eliminating any inconvenience. This product is backed by exceptional support, which is highly commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
