I honestly bought this butane torch for the look (the pink is adorable), but it ended up impressing me way more than expected. It feels sturdy and well-made—not cheap or flimsy like some other torches out there. The flame is strong, consistent, and fully adjustable, which makes it perfect for everything from caramelizing sugar on desserts to small kitchen or DIY tasks. The ignition works smoothly, and I like that it has a safety lock for peace of mind. It’s also really comfortable to hold, and the base keeps it stable when you set it down. Just keep in mind it doesn’t come with butane, so you’ll need to fill it before using. Great flame adjustability. Quality piece. Can light it in cold weather and works every time. Easy to refill but it won't let you fill it up it only gets about 10 minutes of run time. Size is perfect in your hand and it does feel heavy duty.

Nowhere does it say if it ships initially pre-filled with butane in the tank. I thought I saw it didn't include butane and maybe they meant no refill bottle? When we tried to fill ours with the refill bottle we bought at Lowes, it wouldn't form a tight seal and the butane sprayed back at me and that's why I *think* it came pre-filled but no refill tank. I didn't try to depress the fill nozzle out of the box to see if the tank was filled or empty first. I guess we will find out how long it burns with the way it is out of the box. I'm guessing it's safe to ship with the tank filled since the flame adjustment nozzle was covered secure and the unit was packed well in the box.

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five stars is I don't like the constant on once I light it there should be an option to turn this off or I like when it goes off when I let go of the button I'm not a fan of you have to turn the gas off in order for the flame to go off if I wanted that I would just get a propane torch.
