I am against having the 'pool' places sell me chemicals, simply feel they are in it for the sale and not the service.However, this does keep the free chlorine in check when used properly. And the cost is so much better than getting from the local pool supply store.I use in a salt system pool and have the water checked every two weeks, so far it is perfect.Best,MJ
