What are the chunks in the sauce? Looks like beef to me but I don’t eat meat and I’m concerned now

What are the chucks in the sauce? I am a vegetarian

I think they were dried veggie but they were too salty for me. So I pick them out. I really like this but the salt is really high. Look at the labe. So I only use half the packit. But I thought it was good. I wish they would get the salt level down. The noodles are very good. It would be nice if they would take the dried veggie out an just have the sauce. This is really good. Hope this helps.
