I purchased a $100 bottle of perfume from this seller, expecting a premium product. Unfortunately, the sprayer broke within a month, making the entire bottle unusable. I reached out to the seller, hoping they would stand behind the product and offer a replacement or a solution. However, their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to take responsibility or provide any support. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and service. It’s incredibly disappointing when a seller fails to back up the products they sell, especially when something goes wrong so soon after purchase. I will definitely not be buying from this seller again and advise others to be cautious as well.

This perfume instantly made me smile — it really does smell like a fancy slice of birthday cake with creamy vanilla and a hint of rose and hazelnut. The sweet, gourmand vibe is comforting and fun without smelling childishly sugary. It’s warm and cozy, and I’ve gotten a few compliments when I wear it out. The fragrance opens with a bright mix of bergamot, apple blossom, and hazelnut, then develops into a soft, sweet rose and jasmine heart before settling into creamy vanilla and musk on the dry‑down. It feels like frosting on skin — sweet but not overwhelming. Longevity and projection are moderate — you may need a re‑spray later in the day Overall, if you’re into playful, dessert‑inspired fragrances or want something that feels cheerful and unique, this is a great choice. It’s especially fun for casual days, weekend outings, or anytime you want something that smells a bit like a sweet treat at a great price!

I purchased both the Lait de Coco and Chai Épicé fragrances. They are lovely and layer so well! It was absolutely a worthwhile buy; these perfumes outperform their price point. My impressions of each are below. Lait de Coco is not entirely gourmand. Although it is anchored by the richness of coconut cream, I would best describe Lait de Coco as a sweet and approachable "clean girl" scent. The floral top note is prominent but not overwhelming. The dry-down is powdery and even a bit soapy, which I like. Projection is moderately weak to weak, which I also like, because I prefer fragrances that sit close to the skin. This is my favorite of the two I bought. Chai Épicé is a true gourmand fragrance. It is all sweetness with a touch of spice—less reminiscent of masala chai, I find, than it is reminiscent of apple streusel, baklava, or candied almonds. The toasted hazelnut and praline notes are prominent. Perhaps it's just the way my skin reacts to fragrances, but I also find this one to be powdery (but not soapy) on the dry-down. After several hours, Chai Épicé is all vanilla and whipped cream. Projection is moderate; preferring subtle fragrances, I only need one spritz. What I'm most impressed by is the longevity of both fragrances. I know that my skin really holds on to benzoin, which both of these perfumes contain, but let me tell you: the base notes (powdery coconut and vanilla) were projecting eighteen hours later. Most of the scent had worn off within eight hours, but after doing some landscaping work in 102-degree heat (don't ask), those powdery base notes were projecting again! A colleague told me I smelled like a "sweaty muffin," which was... Painfully accurate, so I accept it.

I love this scent! On my skin this smells a little bit like warm, milky rice with a touch of laundry or something fresh. Not what I usually gravitate toward but it works so well! It doesn’t really project much and it only lasts a few hours but I put it on after my shower and before I crawl into bed for the night and it just feels so cozy and clean. I’ve tried a number of Le Monde Gourmand scents now, and I like quite a few of them, but this is my favorite so far!

The scent doesn’t last that long, but smells fresh
