Second time buying this - first I tried berry flavor, now lemon- both taste great and the product dissolves well in water. As a menopausal, vegetarian woman I am always looking for more protein sources and am excited to find this as I'm not always in the mood for my protein shake every day. The flavors are however a bit strong so I use half a packet daily in about 12-14 oz water and am able to add my mushroom tincture and chlorophyll drops for a supercharged "tonic". Might be psychosomatic but I do feel like after taking it for 6 weeks it's helping my muscle mass - I work out about 4-5 times a week, only light weights, pilates, and cycling.

This amino complex understood the assignment. Tastes good, mixes fast, and suddenly I’m hydrated, energized, and feeling like I could add “one more set” without negotiating with myself. Definitely earned a permanent spot in my shaker.

I’ve ordered this product twice now. I do a wide array of workouts from weights to running to multi-functional. I’ve taken aminos from different companies for a long time but started to finally really research & felt much safer taking Thorne. The flavor isn’t the best if you add too much water. I’ve always added around 20oz to my intra-workout aminos with no problem but this one will get watered down. I adjusted and it’s been good. I’m also used to awful tasting soups and just powering through worse and this flavor is better than stuff I took up till the last few years. Newer people to using supplements might not like the flavor at all but trust me all workout supplements used to be awful. My recovery & muscle growth/lift gains have remained the same to the other products I’ve used with more mystery ingredients so there was no drop off there. I’m okay with taking a step back on taste and variety rather than putting mystery crap in my body from lesser regulated big companies. Product quality wins this for me & I’ve heard from multiple non-Thorne associated experts that vouched for Thrones testing.

I am sorry to be critical, I wanted to like this, but I would not recommend this product. The Amazon sales page description is deceiving. It does not mention that there is a warning on the label that this product can expose me to chemicals, including lead, which are known in the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. I only found out about this after I had received the product. From now on, I will buy other Amino products that do not have these chemicals. If I have a choice, and I do, I will not expose myself to nutritional products that have this warning label.

The flavor ……it’s tough. It’s like drinking a sweet TART. Emphasis on tart. No better way to describe . Can’t get past the flavor to make other comments .

Very bad product. Obviously it wasn’t stored correctly and humidity got into it making the powder rock solid and unusable.
