SEIKO Mahogany Wall Clock with Pendulum

Love this clock it looks very nice sounds the hours very nice . So far it keeps perfect time it looks elegant.

This wall grandfather clock adds a lot to a room. It has two different chimes that can be set to ring on the hour. It’s made by Seiko so you know that it is a quality clock.

Like the clock, sounds good, looks good.. but... a few notes.. The color of mine was very light mahogany, not dark as picture shows. There are 4 screws that hold the clock backing in place, once removed, you can move the plastic piece which has the speaker on the inside and is attached to the clock only by the thin electrical wires. It's fairly easy to set the clock and chimes but is a pain if you have to do it multiple times. Why the clock controls can't be on the outside of the back is beyond me. If you just consider the inside, it's definitely cheap looking. However, functionally it works very well and looks great, keeps very good time thus far, and sounds realistic. Note, when hanging, allow for additional distance of screw or nail, as there are rubber grommets which keep clock from wall, about 3/8 of an inch is needed to protrude from wall. I left a packaging review, but very quickly: the clock came in it's original clock box, i.e.- the clock box was not inside a shipping box. The clock box clearly showed that a clock had just been delivered.. "surprise honey!" The box top was not secured with tape, it just slid right off.. Luckily (and amazingly) it was not damaged. If I encounter any issues I will update.

This clock was an absolute fantastic buy. Easy to assemble and set-up the time and chime. Great clock, great sound, solid wood, well built, and a wonderful classy appearance. This part of the country was experiencing the worst weather conditions in 15 years, even so this Clock was delivered on time in perfect conditions. Would I buy this clock again? Absolutely, it was worth very cent I paid, and then some more. You can not go wrong with this purchase.

I purchased this clock as a present for my mother in law. I was very impressed with the product out of the box. The clock was well packed in the box and I was pleased with the craftsmanship of the clock. You don't see that anymore. I had purchased a different clock prior to this one only to have to return it as I couldn't get the clock to chime correctly among other things. The only adjustment this clock required was the settings for the melody, volume control, night time chimes or not and of course setting the time. The chimes sound beautiful and work like a charm. I also love the fact that it came with a battery. The downside to changing any of the settings or replacing the batteries is that you have to take the clock down, unscrew the back to gain access. However having said that, per the instruction booklet the battery life is about a year. So if I only have to do that once a year its really not a big deal. At least for me. All in all this is an awesome clock and worth every penny I paid for it.

I have never seen such a cheap product in all my life. The clock came with no directions on how to set it up, how to set the clock, chimes or the clock itself. In order to change the time, you have to remove the screws on the back then try and get the correct time set, replace the back of the clock with tiny screws and hung back on the wall, hoping you haven 't taken too much time so the clock time will still be good. I will never buy another clock or buy anything at Amazon again.

This is an absolutely beautiful clock. The electronic chimes have a beautiful tone and sound every quarter hour. You can select either Westminster chimes or Whittington chimes. The volume of the chimes can be adjusted and they can also be silenced between 11:00 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. The clock looked a bit intimidating to set up when I removed it from the box but it turned out to be very simple. My wife and I love this clock.

The clock looks beautiful. I sent this as a gift and just got to see it recently. The battery was installed and the clock never worked. When I took the back off like you are replacing the battery, the problems were very apparent. The wiring of the speaker was connected by 2 30 AWG wires. There was no mechanical support for the wiring. When you remove the back to replace the battery, the unit that connects to the speaker drops and the wires break. I had to replace the speaker. Solder the wires back on. Figure out a way to support the top so it would not drop when opening the back. Got the clock working. Expected a better product from Seiko.

Excelente, sencillo y bonito

I bought this clock for my dad, as it was INCREDIBLY rare in Australia. He is over the moon and the fact it displays the correct time always, not too fast, not too slow. It does not fit his modern style house, but its there, looking odd as hell in the family room. Its a good clock, surprisingly light and compact.

Well made, good quality, works as expected. The silence time is fixed from 11pm to 6 am, it would be better if that can be changed as needed.

Great product, just wish it had a ticking sound like like our old mechanical wall clock.
