It came with the adjustment tool and worked like a champ. It was a drop-in replacement for my 30 year old Hunter head.

Very easy to install and set. Just remember to watch the videos, set the right side as the fixed and be sure your piping is 3/4 inch . If you need to go from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch have the adapter pipe available when you are installing the sprinkler.

I'm sure these work well on lawns...however...a year or so ago...my tennis pro talked me into changing out some of our older Rain Bird popups with the PGP's...for safety reasons. Unfortunately, the PGP's don't work well as the Rain Birds for tennis courts...and I'd stay away from them, if you're considering them for that purpose. We've had a lot of trouble with with Har-Tru court material fouling them and then having the sprinklers not wanting to pop up or rotate. Another issue we've discovered is that when you want, or need to max-out the range...you wind up with a solid stream that doesn't provide adequate coverage between the sprinkler and watering perimeter. Adjusting the spray screw adds coverage...but decreases range...so all in all...not really a good choice for tennis courts. My rating doesn't have as much to do with the product as our intended application. These are probably 5 star units when used for gardens and lawns. The Rain Birds aren't perfect either...we've had issues with them jumping the tracking mechanism....but better suited for us. Hope this helped.
