Nice product that works beautifully! Cuts through my homemade sourdough bread effortlessly. The suction cups hold tightly on my natural stone countertop. I also like that the one I bought is a pure white (most others I saw were cream) and does not have ugly print on the side with the brand name, unlike others I saw when shopping, so it looks good on the counter. I definitely recommend the product.

This is an amazing little bread slicer. It works very well. The blade is sharp and easy to rotate. It cuts the bread without smooshing it. The suction cups stick very well to the counter without moving it all while I was using it. I’m very happy with this purchase and I think you will be too. It’s not a very large product so it can be stored on the counter simply and I think it was a great value for the cost.

This product appears to be much better than the $229 Zassenhaus Original Classic. This one has a bread guide that keeps the sliced bread away from the crank handle. The expensive product does not so the bread often gets crushed by the handle. I recommend this bread cutter that works extremely well and also sticks to the countertop like glue unlike the expensive brand. It cuts through sourdough bread like butter.

I have searched for a bread slicer for my bread for years. I have found some good products, but nothing that really works on artesian bread. Sandwich bread, I've found several options. Hard crusted boules? Nothing. This cuts through them like butter. Thin slices for sandwiches, thick for toast. Whatever you want, without any extensive sawing. Downside? The suction cups to hold it to the counter don't work. Plan on getting clamps to hold it in place. Other than the failure of the suction cups, I'd give it a five.

I've never been good at slicing homemade bread. I'd struggle with knives that weren't sharp enough and couldn't get thin, even slices. I made two loaves of bread to test this slicer out and it worked amazingly. Gave me perfectly uniform slices that we used for sandwiches and French toast the next morning. It's smaller than I thought it would be so I didn't need to find somewhere to store it and the suction cups held it in place well on my counter. Super easy to use as well.

Ok, I was expecting this to be China-made junk. Cost was low, so I figured I'd give it a shot. While not over-the-top German manufacturing, this little think work wonderfully. I'll let the below photo speak for itself.

Poor quality. It was hard to turn the wheel to adjust for the bread thickness. The overall feeling was kind of flimsy and the suction cups would not stick well to my countertop. I did like the slice catcher on the side.

I got this for my Mother in law as a gift because she love's making sour dough bread. She told me it has made it so much easier and it cuts great slices than using a traditional bread knife. Even clean cuts with adjustable thickness. She has loved it and the blade is super sharp. The suction pucks on the bottom also make it so easy to use without it moving around.

Great device for the home baker. Does a fantastic job of slicing bread whether it is standard bread or sour dough. Fast and easy.

The slicer is really good, slices through sourdough like butter. The only thing I didnt like is that when u cut the crumbs get everywhere and under the suction cups so it slips. Other than that its really good.

It works wonder.

It does cut bread very well. Two drawbacks, there is not a gauge as to what the thickness of the slice will be, you have to guess, if the loaf is high, the slice gets stuck so once it is cut, you have to carefully fish it out of the guide. Oh yes, on my machine, the turn knob is very stiff.
