Optoma HD144X projector (Full HD, 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2x HDMI, 3200 lumens, 23,000: 1 contrast, 3D, 1.1x zoom)

Great picture quality and brightness. The fan is very quiet on all but the brightest settings. Very happy with it

The picture brightness and quality were good for us, even without the blinds down. Though obviously direct light sources weaken it. Like other reviewers we found the power cable a bit loose, it has cut out when gently knocked, but this isn't the worst problem in the world. The fan does kick in quite early and often to keep the projector cool, but it's not exactly noisy by projector standards. And the in-built speaker is surprisingly OK. We wouldn't use it long-term, but it worked in the interim while we waited for our sound system to arrive.

Good bright and quiet projector used in home cinema, mounted inverted on the ceiling. Only issue is the remote; the ‘on’ button doesn’t work so have to turn it on on the projector, which is not ideal. Complaining to Optoma at the moment.

Very good screen protector workshop very well. However I can't seem to get the stability correct so pictures wonky

This is a good projector and certainly bright enough. The only downside, for which I took a star off is the feet which make it difficult to set-up level. But in terms of picture quality it's spot on for the money.

This is our third purchase of an Optoma projector. The projector arrived missing one of its adjustable screw supports in the back. The plastic casing was sealed at the point where the support would screw in. Since we're isolating due to high risk for COVID we didn't even try to raise this as we can't ship it back. So we ended up using LEGO pieces which work really well. :) As for the quality of the projector, it's mostly ok. The image becomes noticeably darker towards the bottom of the projection. It's not on par with the last projector we had (Optoma HD141X) which was nearly identical to this one. My guess is that something went really wrong in this particular assembly line or maybe it's using cheaper components or employing cost-cutting measures. I've had better projectors, I've had worse. This otherwise capable, average projector gets 2 stars due to the defects we've noticed. We'll use it until it dies and maybe not get an Optoma projector next time around.

You're rolling the dice with Optoma. The projector worked well until 13 months after purchase when a dark patch appeared in the upper left hand corner (see pics)... Amazon sent me to Optoma who ignored my emails. When I called they said the minimum cost of repair would be £150 just for shipping and diagnostics plus any costs for labour and parts. Optoma were curt with me and a quite rude and arrogant actually. I kicked up enough fuss with Amazon that they agreed to take it back for a refund but it took hours to get to that point. You can roll the dice with Optoma if you're feeling lucky but my advice would be to go with Epson or BenQ. Better quality products and superior customer service. Optoma, sadly, has become cheap tat with couldn't care less customer service.

Good for the price. I bought it for 249 pounds when there was an offer. For that price, this is excellent. Nowhere near Sony projector but that costs 1800 pounds

Comincio quasi scontato col lodare il servizio di logistica di Amazon, ordinato ieri pomeriggio e ricevuto oggi dopo pranzo, top. È la prima volta che compro un prodotto su Amazon warehouse deals, riportava la dicitura usato pari al nuovo, effettivamente se non fosse per il sigillo tagliato, la scatola si presenta praticamente perfetta, e dentro, sembra che non sia neanche stato guardato, tutto fiammante e lucido, come appena uscito dalla fabbrica! Spettacolare! Il proiettore, benché di plastica, è di ottima fattura, ben rifinito e da l'idea di solidità e robustezza. Una volta piazzato al suo posto e acceso, mi ha lasciato senza parole. Prima di tutto è silenzio anche in modalità luminosa, ma in modalità eco praticamente non si sente, anche se effettivamente devo dire che emana un sibilio che molti lamentano, ma bisogna veramente farci caso per sentirlo, dopo poco non ci ho fatto neanche più caso. Colori spettacolari, definizione full hd vera, dopo aver passato il pomeriggio a smanettare con le impostazioni, che sono davvero tantissime, ho raggiunto un livello di immagine veramente spettacolare, neri profondi e colori saturi ma che non sparano mai dando fastidio. Per essere un entry level, pagato 408 euro, penso sia difficile pretendere di più. Testato anche il 3d che rende ottimamente vista la grande luminosità di questo gioiellino. Consiglio di tenerlo in modalità eco perché a piena luminosità è davvero esagerato, soprattutto a luce spenta, inoltre la lampada durerà intorno alle 10000 ore così, faccio tempo a cambiare proiettore invece di sostituirla! Che dire di più, lo stavo puntando da un po', dopo averne lette le lodi, e ora che l'ho preso, sono veramente soddisfatto di questo acquisto, che rifarei sicuramente. Spero che continui a funzionare tutto correttamente, più avanti aggiornerò la recensione, per ora non posso che consigliarne vivamente l'acquisto, optoma vi lascerà veramente soddisfatti, top!!! Grazie Amazon!!! AGGIORNAMENTO terzo giorno di utilizzo, durante la visione di un film, in modalità eco, ho attivato il dynamic black e il proiettore si è spento di colpo, con spia rossa della lampada lampeggiante. Aspetto 10 minuti, il proiettore si riaccende e funziona, provo a ripetere l'operazione e salta nuovamente tutto. Questa mattina ho effettuato il reso, grande collaborazione da parte di Amazon come sempre, mi spiace perché è un gran bel proiettore, lo riacquisto nuovo e non ci penso più. AGGIORNAMENTO Dopo 5 giorni dalla richiesta di reso e aver consegnato il pacco all'ufficio postale, rimborso ricevuto, tutto perfetto, grazie Amazon!

Day 0 review: Product arrived on time and the packaging seems genuine and original. The video quality and brightness is amazing! Suitable for ambient light viewing and some day time viewing when the sunlight doesn't fall directly on the projection surface. The throw length seems to be little far but that's expected for any conventional projector. Keystone adjustment and stock settings seems perfect! The audio volume is powerful enough for a decent sized living room. Pair it with an external speaker for premium quality sound. Recommend using an external bluetooth transmitter if need to be paired with external bluetooth speaker.

Vamos a ver... Es un proyector ya con bastante tiempo en el mercado, lo bueno que tiene es que esta más que probado y testado. (Mira en foros, opiniones, comparativas, imágenes de la proyeccion, que encuentres por internet, por más que te ponga aquí es mejor compararlo con otros modelos que vayan saliendo al mercado). El ruido que es lo que preocupa... En modo eco prácticamente no suena, si es cierto que en modo normal si suena y desprende mucha calor, pero yo usándolo en exteriores con el modo eco es suficiente. Los lumens, pues los veo correctos, tienen suficiente potencia, y el contraste es bastante bueno. Incluso con la luz de la terraza encendida se puede ver sin problema muy pero que muy bien. El tamaño si es cierto que es muy aparatoso además yo lo guardo con parte del soporte puesto. El sonido: suena muchísimo, pero mal en rasgos generales, si eres de los que quieres graves que retumben a esto hay que acoplarle un buen sistema de sonido. El USB es solo un simple cargador, y anda muy justo de conexiones, pero hoy en dia, debemos pensar en que el estándar es el HDMI y para lo que lo tengo enfocado me es suficiente. Respecto a la calidad de proyección: pues solo lo voy a usar los veranos y en la terraza para ver series o peliculas, creo que la relación de calidad contrastada y precio es más que correcta para el uso al que lo voy a destinar. En habitación cerradao he probado y se ve igualmente fenomenal, ya depende del uso, dinero a invertir y lo exigente que sea cada persona a la hora de valorarlo. En definitiva espero que dure años, que me de muchas horas de entretenimiento y haya sido una gran compra. Pd: si que le voy a poner una pega... El sensor del mando a distancia lo tiene en la botonera del proyector, no funciona si no no apuntas en esa dirección, por lo cual si lo tienes en altura pero bocarriba, es imposible utilizar el mando.

Je suis très content de ce projecteur, la qualité d'image est excellente, même en mode éco. Dans ce mode de fonctionnement il est très silencieux, et se fait oublier. En jeu ou en film, rien à redire, je ne perçoit aucun défaut d'image ni effet arc en ciel. Les seuls reproches sont liés à l'ergonomie. Car si la qualité d'image n'a rien à envier aux modèles plus onéreux, l'économie à été faite sur le reste : Pas de lens shift, seuls 2 pieds réglables sur les 3, uniquement 2 HDMI comme entrée vidéo, et les touches en gomme de la télécommande qui parfois coincent un petit peu. Ces points ne sont pas très gênants en usage fixe/home cinéma (on règle une fois pour toute et on y revient plus) , mais pourraient le devenir pour un commercial qui veut faire des présentations. A noter que les haut parleurs intégrés sont tout de même décents, et produisent un son similaire à ce que donne une télévision. C'est pas du home cinéma avec caisson de basse, mais ça dépanne.

Pros: la calidad de la imagen es buenísima. Nosotros vemos muchas películas, y nos gusta tenerla en calidad blueray, y se ve a la perfección. El 3D es magnífico, las películas de animación es una pasada. Los colores, la definición, todo muy muy bueno. Un amigo ya tenía un proyector de la misma marca, lo usé antes, y estamos los dos muy contentos. A demás, siempre lo uso en modo eco, si es de noche es más que de sobra. El ventilador hace menos ruido, la bombilla dura más, da menos calor... Contra: los altavoces, los dos que he probado son muy pobres, muy mala calidad. Aunque hoy en día todos disponemos de altavoces o barras de sonidos. Así que se soluciona facilmente.
