I pointed at the TV and just worked on my old 2020 LG 65 inch TV. No set up. Better than the original remote. No pairing required on this TV. Great price.

I have an original LG magic remote for a different tv, and this one is exactly the same. It has a good solid feel to it, and seems to be good quality. Its super easy to program, and functions the same as the old one. I do find the mouse part doesn't always do what I want, but I'm not sure that's a problem with the remote. And I found the buttons around the mouse a bit stiff and, I had to push them a couple times for them to work, but not often. They have work in a bit now and seem better. Overall, it works as it should, it seems to be solid, it looks exactly like the original and it's a third the price of the original. So, for now, I think it's well worth the money. I would buy it again if need. Its only been a couple weeks, if anything changes I will update.

So seeing all of the knock off remotes and the issues that seem to come with all of them (quality, compatibility, lack of functions, etc.) i was hesitant to purchase this aftermarket LG magic remote. However, now that it has arrived and i have had a chance to check it out i can honestly say this one exceeded my expectations. The buttons are firm, the wheel works as it should, both pointer and voice functions are working as expected and it automatically connected as a generic remote as soon as i put batteries in it. After putting batteries in all i i had to do was hold a button for 2 seconds and it registered the voice function, then a quick power off and on of tv and its done. Tue pointer is rf not infrared so you dont have to point it at the tv which is nice. My model wasnt even specifically listed and it was compatible. I have a 55UK6300BUB
