Mr. Pen- Professional Drafting Dots, 7/8” Diameter, 500 Pieces

I originally bought this product for my sketching class and I needed a substitute because the other dots were way to expensive. I ended up like this product more. It’s all the same really. They leave the desk a little sticky when you leave them on for a long time but I still like using them. I usually use each one about three times before I throw them out.

I have just started to learn drafting to draw out my woodworking projects. I've tried several types of tape and stuff from the craft stores, but alas none have worked very satisfactory. While searching Amazon for other drafting items, these came up as a suggestion. After looking at serval different brands, I decided to go with Mr. Pen. And wow, am I glad I did! These are great. Easily dispensed from the box and hold real well. They do NOT get in the way at all. When it's time to remove them, they come right off and do NOT tear the paper. Great product from a great company. Thanks for making my life easier. :)

Not very sticky.

I have trouble with them not adhering well. However, overall they do the job.

These work great for securing tracing paper to my sewing patterns. They peel off of tissue paper without tearing and I can use each dot several times. Worth the money.

Purchased for my young granddaughter to hold her drawings and paintings -- they work well.

Left residue that required too much effort to completely remove. Was tearing strips and thought these would speed up taping, which they do. Unfortunately, the time it takes to remove tacky residue leaves me right back at the same amount of time used, or more, when tearing strips of tape. EDIT: However, shortly after posting these above comments the seller reached out to me. They appreciated my feedback and went above and beyond with their Customer Service; a feat many other vendors might consider adopting. In the future, should I be in the market for an art related item I will keep Mr Pen in mind, which is the entire point. Extra star for service.

I use these Drafting Dots, or 'Art Dots', to spot billiard balls on a pool table while practicing. I needed something which would stay put and flat on the clothe while at the same time be easily removed, leaving no residue transferred to the clothe. These are fine for that; to remove them all I do is gently slide the edge of a regular sheet of paper under a side of the dot and lift - this leaves a nice little crease that I can pull the dot off with using my fingers. Then, a few swipes with the pool table brush, and you never know the dot was on there.

Not sure as to how I hadn't seen these before. Been using masking tape for years. Very neet and handy and can be used more than once if your feeling a bit tight. Leaves the paper edge intact and no residue.

Ordered these to secure paper to a drafting board. The adhesive holders are dispensed out the box off a waxy strip that you pull out as needed. Holds paper reasonably well to ghe drafting board. Comes easily off both the paper and board with no residue on either. Make sure to press and smooth the adhesive circles down to prevent drafting tools passing over top from catching. Reasonable price for the product.

I purchased drafting dots after seeing recommendations by artists that they were a good alternative to artists tape. They are not. They stick well to the paper but not to the drawing board. Hence the paper moved when I was working on it.
