It works with Canon R6 Mk II. Excelent value for money!!
It worked flawlessly in a Canon R6 MK II attached in a powerbank as well as in a standard charger. Great value for money! I didn't notice any restriction compared with standard batteries. It substitutes with good compatibility.

False advertising
Will not power on a Canon Eos 80D. Tried 4 different usb-c ac adapters all ad different wattages and none of them worked. The cable is WAY too short if it even did work

The key to running off less expensive power banks.
If youโre tired of trying to run things one battery at a time, but you arenโt quite ready for rails and a v-mount battery, this is your key to running off vastly cheaper USB-C power banks. Will you be able to make any given power bank work with it? That depends 100% on your setup. The details on power are in your manual, do the math and if your power bank can supply the correct wattage, youโre golden. (Your camera will think itโs plugged into AC, so donโt expect it to register the power bankโs charge.) OEM batteries are compact and fine out of the box, but particularly if youโre doing high bitrate video, youโre going to need more power than said batteries can supply. This gets it to you without going full-on v-mount.

Get an extension cable.
Works fine with my Canon EOS R5. The cable is shorter than I expected. The image on the product page shows a 30cm straight section, an 80cm (when extended) coiled section and a 25cm straight section. It's actually 80cm (about 30") total length cable that is coiled in the center and it takes a fairly significant amount of force to stretch it. The force is enough to unplug the USB-C connector if its stretched to more than about 24" in length. You will probably need an extension cable. Make sure you have a charger/adapter that outputs 9V or 12V over USB-C.

NOT COMPATIBLE with Canon 60D.
This is NOT COMPATIBLE with the Canon 60D model. The camera does not power on.

Canon users need this!
I have been using something similar, which uses DTAP, then converts it to USB-C at the right voltage. This skips a step, so I can use just about any power bank with PD.

Works in camera, but not in camera grip
I have an EOS R6 ii, and this dummy works fine inside the camera. It does *not* work inside the battery grip though (confirmed by seller whom I asked - no reason provided), which is too bad as I will have to first uninstall the grip every time I want to use this dummy. I will keep it as it can still help in certain situations, wasn't overly expensive, and I don't like product return hassle - but I would not have bought it had I known that it won't work with the grip, which I use practically all the time.
