Terrible!!!
ZERO STARS!!!! A used defective hard drive as new and would not give me a refund or return. I was constantly told to deal with seagate, which i did and was directed back to the seller on amazon. Grinding noise off the bat, not a good product. Stick with WD.

Working, but some info is not right.
Item arrived yesterday. Played around with it. It is working quite well right now. Here are some of my findings: 1. Warranty until 2027-01-08, checked from Seagate website by serial number. So it's not two years as described in the Item Detail. 2. Disk is ST28000DM000, both reported by CrystalDiskInfo and HWiNFO. 3. RPM 7200, by CrystalDiskInfo and HWiNFO. So it's not 5400 as said in the spec in the Amazon page. 4. I tried to find the Data Recovery Service status with the serial number, it's been spinning forever. 5. After registered the product, I tried to create an account in their website. It gave me error. Their website is really garbage. Add-on, I chatted with the product support, he said warranty is 2 years, from invoice day. Website report is calculating from manufacturing date, that is wrong. Data Recovery Service is also valid for two years.
