Saved my wrists. Once you get used to it, the strain on your wrists and forearms disappear. A bit pricy but worth it if you type a lot. Would be five stars but it bugs out sometimes, needing to be unplugged and replugged in (macros stop working)

I’ve purchased tons of ergo keyboards and this is hands down the best. Can type pretty fast too but don’t think it will increase wpm. I’ve had it a few weeks now. I bought for work. Took a few typing test to ensure I could do my job as I press the keys with different rings due to the layout. Let’s get to the cons because they are very important - I wish the heigh would go up even further. It does get your arm closer to natural position in terms of twisting, but it’s still twisted . To me this thing could go up one more notch and I’m not a big guy. - have a few other computers at other places and when I remote in, some times it won’t let me type at all.. what’s the deal with that? That part truly is a pain. - truly designed for windows friendly computers. If it were Mac friendly,. The windows key would be closer in thumb range, would be great to be able to command v with just one hand instead of two. - Watch out with some of the keys, if you hit some of these special ones the keyboard goes wild and i don’t even know what’s happening. I got the pink press so it’s lightest possible. - no brain for the f and j keys so easy to lose place unless you like looking down. In the end, it’s worth it it seems. I got the hand pads too cuz this plastic my hand just slides. I think I’m about back up to my 90wpm. My fingers feel so much better pressing these buttons. It’s a mind boggle when you sometimes have to transition back to traditional keyboards. Also, learning to not hit the enter key is scary. It’s really close to the spacebar and if you forget It didn’t get 5 stars cuz it doesn’t go up one more level. I just tested where I’d like it to be and I believe it’s another inch and a half up ward from highest level. I can’t wait to see what Kinessis makes next.

I've used a Kinesis Advantage Pro for 15 years. After 15 years it was getting pretty rough looking. For my new job, I wanted a similar ergonomic keyboard but was hoping for something that was less loud and bulky. I looked at Kinesis's new line of Advantage Keyboards as well as some competitors. I decided to stick with one of the Kinesis advantage one and decided to try the split keyboard version. I love it. It is a nice upgrade. I went with the wired one because I didn't want to deal with charging and inevitable bluetooth issues. I'm not going to be moving the keyboard around, so blue tooth doesn't have much advantage for me. It looks very nice and has a good solid feel. I got the version with the quiet switches (Kailh Box Pink Silent stem switches) and really like the quieter sound and improved feel of the keys when typing over my earlier Advantage keyboard. The smart programability and keyboard layers are also an improvement. I'm a big fan of using keyboard layers instead of having a larger keyboard with function keys, numpad etc. Programming the keyboard is easy using either just the keyboard or the app. I don't need anything fancier than what this model offers. I don't need the full ZMK programmability of the more expensive models.

Everything about this keyboard is perfect. I switched from an Advantage2 I've been using for a few years, and I didn't think it'd be a big jump in quality or feel; I just needed something a bit more mobile now that I'll be going to an office a couple days per week. Absolutely everything is improved in more ways than are listed. The build quality is unmatched, it really shocked me how nice and weighty the keyboard halves feel. The Kallih pink linear switches are absolutely a dream to type on, especially compared to the Gateron brown switches I'm upgrading from with the Advantage2. The sound is also dead silent, even for a super heavy typer like me.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This keyboard has solved my pain while typing. The downside is basically resetting your muscle memory of how you type.
