It ships in a small tin that is easy to carry or stow in the pocket or gear bags, however I would put a rubber band around it just incase as the lid can slip open pretty easily if it gets jostled around a lot. Overall, they are accurate to scale and should be durable and usable for quite some time. *Just be aware, depending on who is handling the shipping of these and the laws there of, they may arrive opened, like mine did. I assume they were checked incase they were live instead of blanks.
