These boxes were perfect for what I needed. They are indeed true cubes, with inside dimensions maybe a pencil-line less than 2". I published a 3D puzzle book, where the puzzle is a cube. On the flat page, it might be hard to understand, so I made a book where you could cut out the puzzle with scissors, fold it, and put it in one of these boxes, to help. I liked it immensely, and I gave a set to a reviewer who also thought it made things easier. The boxes are well made, perfectly clear and smooth, the lids fit snuggly and neatly, I'm very pleased.

I’m using these as gift boxes for guitar picks. Works fantastic for the purpose intended
