I can't get enough of it! I bet people around me at the office are angry "that guy smells like a 35 year old sales VP from the 1990s!" or something. Sometimes, at the end of the day, when I'm driving home, I'll lift my shirt collar to the bridge of my nose just to take a few whiffs of it. Just one spray of it will last all day, three sprays will keep it in your nose all day long. I didn't learn about the difference between EDP, EDT, and parfum before I bought this and I feel stupid for never knowing the difference. If doesn't smell like the original Cool Water, it's a new fragrance, but I absolutely love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best designer Oud Accord bottle of 2025 *by on Reviewed in the United States November 11, 2025* If I were to best described Davidoff Elixir, it’s like between Dior Sauvage and the OG scent of Davidoff Cool Water. It’s a perfect bottle for the winter time and the Oud Accord stands out the most. Especially since the bottle size is 3.3 Fl oz/100 ML it gives off that vibe of Oud essence. Plus, it’s more long lasting than moderate. For being priced around $115 this is not a bad deal in comparison to Dior. It’s worth the value for oud lovers.FYI, there other scents include Rose Oxide, and Rose Lavender. Which is ideal and very simplistic. Definitely recommended for the winter and fall season. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A warm scent, not as good as Cool Water but longer lasting *by on Reviewed in the United States July 19, 2026* It's not as good as Cool Water, but it's a nice warm scent that's not bad smelling either. It does smell like a fancier Old Spice, or kinda like the inside of a nice briefcase lol.It is much much stronger than Cool Water. Cool water fades quickly even with a 2-3 spritz (most people are aghast if you do more than one but it's almost gone in 3-4 hours). Cool Elixir lasts much longer and honestly you only need one spray. I wouldn't even spray it direct to your clothes or skin, just spray the air and step into it. It will last a lot longer and too many sprays will make you smell too intense.
