Q: Does this phone have a plug for a headset?

No it doesn't have anywhere to plug in a headset.

Q: Can the ringer be turned off? I want to put this phone in a room where my baby takes her nap and do not want it to ring and wake her up.

Yes the ringer CAN be turned off but it is not intuitive: 1) press menu/select button once, (2) press cid button 2 times, (3) press menu/select 2 times, (4) press CID button to reduce volume "high", "low", "off", then (5) press OFF button 2 times...Good God.

Q: Does this phone have a headset jack included?

No. There is not a headphone jack!

Q: I use Timewarner for phone service. Can I just plug this into my phone jack and have it work?

I have Time Warner too and it worked for me. I have had this phone for almost a year and have had no problems. I did not need an answering machine since voicemail is included with my TW phone plan. It was a great price and perfect for my needs.
