I highly recommend this book and this author if you are interested in the study of BURNOUT. I have found book an absolute joy to read and it is hard to stop reading more since I opened it. Dr. Maslach is certainly an expert on this topic and the book is very well written.

The book gave me a good understanding of the causes and symptoms of burnout, but I found it very tedious to read. It was almost like reading a dictionary or encyclopedia.

This book will put your head in a spin! The authour makes contradictory statements from one page to the next. Really disappointed I thought the book would have more substance.
