Japanese Maple | Small Tree Seedling | The Jonsteen Company

Tree was actually larger than I thought it would be. Tree appears perfectly healthy with all leave intact. The growth rate is to be determined, but thus far the tree is more than worth it's price. Will be ordering again

As someone who is starting out in growing bonsai trees, I have been very pleased with the seedling I received. After potting it, and giving it some fertilizer, after getting over the initial shock of being planted, the tree really started showing a lot of healthy growth, and has been doing extremely well ever since. For anyone who wants to start out with a seedling for a bonsai, obtaining a seedling The Jonsteen Company is a good choice. Just be sure to do your research and understand your area's climate in relation to the Japanese Maple, and I think your seedling from The Jonsteen Company will thrive.

I was very impressed with this tree! It's much larger than I imagined and full of leaves! It was well packed and seems very healthy. After I planted and watered it, it perked up quickly. I'm very happy with my tree!

These little seedlings look pretty good! Especially for the price when comparing to other 'small' japanese maples on here. Could be the time of year but note there werent any leaves on mine, but they did show small buds to prove they were alive. Also a bit smaller than maybe the picture may lead you to believe, but they'll grow. Not bad!

This item came in and had a lot of leaves already on it (I bought 4 ) and Every Single One looked alive. Some had broken leaves, but in general the roots looked great, the plants all looked great even with a little wear/tear from shipping. I immediately put them into containers so that they could grow, and depending how they grow I may put them outside next sprint/summer once it's not freezing. They are beautiful, I'm excited to see how they turn out and grow.

Arrived 18 days after shipped and it was alive. Only issue is there damage to the main stem. At first I thought it was a grafting wound but looks to be a rip hopefully that does impact tree as it grows.

i don't hardly ever leave reviews but I thought people would want to know. I was not happy with the slow shipping method or the misleading picture of the product. However, the plant was boxed very well, it was still moist and undamaged after a week in the back of a mail truck. As you can tell by my first picture the plant didn't look nearly as nice as the product picture. I still give them 5 stars because the plant was very healthy with a nice straight trunk and my second picture is only two weeks later. Thanks
