One of the best dongles at any price
I came across this on audio science review while looking for a good portable audio solution. I was surprised to see just how amazing the performance of such a tiny device can be, it performs as good as a great desktop dac. The only difference between this and a full desktop setup is power output for driving headphones but that is really not an issue for its intended use. It drives all of my headphones very well, portable and full size open backs. I even use it with usb audio player pro and tried out using the parametric eq with several filters and a -5.5db preamp gain and the hidizs still had the power to drive the headphones to loud levels with more clicks of volume remaining and no audible distortion. I tried that with the sennheiser hd560s as well and it was the same situation, no audible distortion and volume remaining. I think that's a bit beyond its intended use but it does perform admirably. I did see some complaints about the included usb cables but who cares, I immediately bought a cablecreations gold plated usb cable in the termination/length I needed for $7 and it's actually nicer than the included cables imo so that's a small price to pay for the level of performance you get here for $80. Products like this raise the bar for everyone, and rightfully so, consumers pay a good markup for premium products and deserve a good product in return. The hidizs s8 is an actual premium product, compact but high end performance and build. The outer frame is a solid single piece of aluminum and the front and back are high gloss black covered in glass, it looks and feels so much better than I expected.

Solid Cable for Bridging Old and New Devices
I bought this CableCreation Micro USB to USB-C cable (3.3FT, Space Gray) to keep my older Micro USB devices working with my newer USB-C chargers and laptop, and it does the job really well. The braided design feels sturdy, the connectors are solid, and the length is perfect for everyday use. Data transfer and charging are stable (though not super-fast, since it’s USB 2.0), but for syncing and regular charging it’s reliable. Overall, a handy, well-made cable if you still need to connect older gear in a USB-C world.

Works great with my Walabot
Exactly what I needed to use my Walabot on my main phone, which uses a USBC connector. Just the right length and works great. And yes, it is OTG... Which is required by the Walabot.

Works fine with my Android Phone
I'm using this cable to access the mapping system from my Android to my 2023 Frontier. It works fine but the cable could be another 1 to 2 inches longer. Had this been the case I could easily given this five stars!!

Not for DJI Mavic Mini
While this is a good cable and delivery was excellent, this cable is not compatible with the DJI Mavic Mini. If that is what you are looking for, include DJI Mavic Mini in your search. There are cables that work but not this one.

Used for a combo of Roku Stick, VITURE Pro XR Glasses, and their Pro Dock with HDMI input
I took my first dive into using XR glasses, basically glasses that project a big screen in them. I wanted to use a Roku Stick with them, in order to do that I have to power the Roku Stick by plugging it into the Pro Dock, and that's where this cable comes. The Micro-USB goes in the Roku Stick and the USB-C goes in the Dock. Yes, it works. The cable feels sturdy for what it is, I'm sure I'll find other uses for it with older devices.

Don't buy this for your portable DAC/Amp. (Android USB audio)
I wanted to give this cable 5 stars as it does work as a Type C [Host] to Micro USB OTG cable for Android devices, but there is a very important caveat here if you purchase this to use for audio pass-through with a USB dac/amp. This cable has been tested with three device setups (myself using an LG G6 and a Fiio Kunlun and RHA Dacamp L1, and another user on Head-fi.org used it with an S8 paired with the Oppo HA-2SE) and while it does pass the audio through USB with no problem, it uses the phone battery to charge the connected dac/amp, even though your amp has its own power supply. The cable does not have the correct pins to allow the phone control charging settings, and you'll find that most OTG cables work this way. I think this is an issue specific to how USB dac/amps are made in general. Oppo made a special Type C -> Micro USB cable that should** allow Android to stop charging the dac/amp while passing audio. You can buy the cable direct from Oppo digital. **(There are no guarantees when it comes to smartphones and USB audio pass through. I can only say that it works for the setups mentioned above.) Bottom line: if you buy this for a dac/amp setup on Android, it will pass through audio, but you will cause major damage to your battery if you try to use this on a daily basis. When streaming music with the RHA Dacamp L1, this cable causes discharge rates at 39%/hr with the screen off and 95%/hr with it on. The same setup with the supplied RHA cable and an appropriate OTG adapter discharges at 6%/hr.

Ottimo cavo OTG, con questo cavo riesco a sentire le canzoni di Amazon Music per intero, mentre con altri cavi arrivavano a metà canzone e si interrompeva. Attualmente sono contento
