Worth every penny!
I had tried this gin at my local pub, and enjoyed it so much I came home and bought some. I had bought this on an offer, as it is quite expensive (but worth it). I have this with mixed with lemonade as I find tonic too bitter. The pineapple flavour really comes through with a hint of ginger. Although I can imagine if this was with tonic, the ginger would come through a bit more. It is my favourite gin, and I will continue to buy this. I have tried so many Gins, but this is a winner! It is so refreshing and perfect for all year round.

Very drinkable – but ginger is lacking
I found this to represent a good well-balanced gin liqueur. Bags of flavour, a decent kick from the alcohol but not too harsh. Good bottle too. However, as other reviewers have said previously, the dominant flavour here is pineapple. You can detect ginger but it is very subtle. And for my taste, too subtle. That’s not to say it isn’t drinkable, it is. And a fine example too. But if you were after the fiery kick of ginger you’ll be disappointed. It did work well with prosecco (a combination I’d not tried before) but here again for me it would have benefitted from a stronger ginger content. Indeed, on the second glass I added a dash of ginger ale which improved things but brought me dangerously close to the territory of paper umbrellas. If it was branded as simply pineapple gin it would get five stars as I can’t fault its drinkability. But the underpowered ginger reduces it to four.

Love this it tastes fantastic lovely an sweet what I wasn't impressed about was the packing in a box no bubble wrap or paper packaging it was just sliding about in the box could of easily broken 😑

A beautiful flavour
I love this gin and drink it with ginger ale. It is very smooth and sweet. The pineapple flavour is fantastic, I don’t get much of a taste of ginger but that does not bother me. My go to gin is Whitley Neill rhubarb and ginger which is another one where the ginger is subtle. This is for you if you like a sweet smooth gin, no so much if you like your gin punchy. This now lives permanently in my wish list ready to be reordered.

Best with a good ginger ale
With tonic it's not great. With lemonade it's slightly better. With ginger ale and ice it's absolutely lovely. If they just knocked it down to £20 i'd buy this all of the time but until they do i'll keep drinking the Aber Falls 40% Marmalade gin. Both of these makes/flavours are better than any other.
