Cocktails: Modern Favorites to Make at Home

This was purchased as a gift- my friend loves to make cocktails.

I recently ordered several cocktails books to have some ideas at my fingertips for fruity summer drinks. The Williams Sonoma Cocktails was the best of the lot. The recipes are simple and don't call for a lot of speciality alcohols that most people don't have on hand. The classics are there as well as some modern twists. The first thing I made was the pitcher of Citrus & Raspberry sangria for a gathering. It was a huge hit! There are so many recipes I can't wait to try, such as the Sparkling Lemon-Raspberry Float, Blackberry-Thyme Bellini, Coconut Cream & Lime Margarita and Mango Mai Tai. The book is not a large volume with tons of recipes. It is a small sampling of some interesting favorites along with a short section of bar snacks. But for the occasional social drinker, this is perfect.

Purchased as a wedding gift as it was on the bride's registry. Very happy with the purchase.

Lindo pero pequeño

I gave this book to my husband as a birthday gift and he loves the drinks in it even though they’re a little bit on the girly side, and maybe a little fancy, but he had a blast making drinks from it. It also helped him get out of his comfort zone to try new things. This book is awesome if you need drink ideas for a party, the pool, a cozy night in, or even giving it as a house warming gift.

Purchase as a gift for my son who is just getting into making craft cocktails. He loved the recipes and got a bit more creative with some recipes after getting more confidence

We got this as an addition to our wet bar and bought another for a friend. I’ll be honest, I bought this because of the good ratings, beautiful photography and page layout. It doesn’t disappoint. Forewarning that the seller doesn’t package it well and both books came in with bent corners 😩

I purchased this to get the recipes for older classic drinks but was disappointed to find they weren’t in it. It stated it had older recipes! Getting tired of buying cocktail books that are incomplete. Maybe list all the drinks so you know what your buying.
