I’ve used a lot of different body washes before, but this one is on another level. It leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth, and comfortable without any irritation or dryness. Even hours later, my skin still feels good, which I’ve never really experienced with other brands. It’s gentle but still does a great job cleaning, and it doesn’t have that heavy fragrance that can sometimes be too much. Definitely a huge upgrade compared to what I was using before. Since I am not a dermatologist or scientist or chemist, I assume there are reasons for the differences and so I use them as suggested by Vanicream. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING! Gently cleans without known or suspected carcinogens, vegan, and leaves your skin clean and soft with residue, dryness, or greasiness. They don't test their finished products on animals and use synthetic or vegetable-derived ingredients, but their policy allows for animal testing ONLY IF REQUIRED by regulatory bodies like the FDA. You just need to keep in mind that this is purely a gentle cleanser and not a built-in moisturizer. It will not strip your natural barrier but if you have severe winter dry patches you absolutely still need to apply a heavy cream the second you towel off. My only real complaint is the actual bottle size. 12 ounces goes incredibly fast if you use it for your daily showers especially if you share it with anyone else in the house. When you compare it to the giant 32-ounce pump bottles from standard drugstore brands constantly buying these little squeeze tubes definitely gets a bit pricey. But honestly since normal soap leaves me scratching my legs raw paying a little extra for a wash that actually leaves my skin completely alone is an incredibly easy trade-off.
