⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (7/10) Picked this up during my Amazon Prime Day spending spree (we’ve all been there), mostly because I fancied a change from my usual MyProtein vanilla. It mixes well — smooth, no lumps, so full marks there. The taste is… decent. Kind of reminds me of MyProtein’s vanilla, if you squint your taste buds hard enough might get a slight birthday cake taste perhaps my expectations where too high 🤣 Honestly, it’s fine — not bad, not mind-blowing. I expected more party in my mouth and got more stale bland office cupcake on a Monday morning. Still, it does the job with 30g of protein per serving, low sugar, and an easy mix. Would I buy it again? Maybe, but probably in a different flavour. 💬 Verdict: good protein, average flavour — next time I’ll let the birthday cake stay in the bakery.

It. Tastes. Vile. That might just be me which is why I've not docked more stars - one man's rotten milk is another man's cheese, after all. Alright at first but then the aftertaste is... Yuck. Mixes well - I use a Ninja blender though and have no idea how a shaker would fare. Relatively velvety finish. Protein - this is what we all came here for so let's talk amino acids. 1 scoop is 15g, 2 30g protein. 30g plus milk if you use cow juice like normal meatheads is pretty hefty but again I don't know how well the 2 scoop solution works with a shaker - I have a feeling it might go the route if other 2 scoopers which leave a whole bunch GAINS in the shaker if you use one - just clean out with more milk though, no big deal. Calories. Because after all it's calories and protein - the only two nutritional factors that matter... Kidding, we love the nutrients. But at less than 150 kcal for a 2 scoop ting you can carry on putting that weight on where it matters. Low sugar. Great, I guess. Package well sealed, feels like it's on the expensive side though. I got it while it was reduced like an absolute shopping guru. Bag pretty sturdy too so unlikely to split in transit. It's a damn fine product in most regards but the taste... If someone served me that at my birthday I'd not let them bake for man again without some serious practice and research. If you get this and have the same flavour issue as me I have a tip. I have found that if I stick one scoop into overnight oats (I have 50g because breakfast is not my friend) then the oats hide the aftertaste and suddenly you've just pumped up your brekkie with 15g of sweet, sweet protein. So overall, great product, maybe try another flavour though.

The flavour is quite sweet, so I typically blend it with an unflavoured organic protein powder at roughly a 50/60 ratio. That combination tastes great, but as a standalone product, it’s not something I would drink.
