plastic thread too weak for "clay" might work for fondant, but I didn't buy it for that. plunger does not "plunge" should work like caulking gun. It doesn't. only "metal" is the rod, it's ALL plastic.

Very Easy to use. Wish the barrel was bigger but it works great very easy on your hands!

Don’t waste your money
Purchased this extruder to replace one I had for several years and looked identical to this one. However this one is cheaply made, does not press easily, hard to take apart for cleaning. Even the disks are extremely thin and useless. Don’t waste your money!

Not What I Expected
This was not really the best to use for clay extruder. It was alot of work to get the smallest amount of clay out.
