Ce disque dur WD a beaucoup de points positifs comme la rapidité, la stabilité et surtout l'espace. Par contre, il est extrêmement bruyant - Il fait le bruit d'une machine à café en train d'infuser ! C'est vraiment pénible à la longue. J'ai retourné l'article.

I bought 2 drives and one worked fine the second was DOA. The one working fine is good and fast, I like it. I returned the damaged unit and order a new one. New one just arrive and again DOA. I don't know what is going on as these devices are supposed to be the best in class, I think they are not packaged correctly since they come just in a ESD bag in a carboard box. I will order a new one, but from other source.

Item arrived defective (drive spin but communication interface is dead) and drive won't work neither in 2 different NAS or Windows PC. I personally own 10 of these drives and they work perfectly well... This is the first time a WD Gold fails on me, and first time it is DOA ... Although this can happen, i would have like a fast refund to buy a replacement, usually a refund is issued as soon as the packagenis dropped. But now it seems Amazon has changed it's rules and put a 16+7 work days before issuing a refund, which is 1 month ! I think this is abusive policy for a DOA item. But my concern is that this item has a lower price for 14TB than the actual 12 i wanted to match, and there were only 2 "left in stock" so i think these units, although sold as new, were previously returned as defective, although is impossible to proove due to defective communication interface, it is impossible tonread drive, SMART information.
