is this product suitable for connecting a water hose with aluminum threads to a brass hose bib?

I've never used ceramic-filled thread tape. However, brass does not gall, and a water hose connection seals on a gasket, not the threads. If the connection is critical, use a high quality gasket and a little grease on the threads.

Only good to 287C, 550F. Don't buy for high temperature applications.

Deceptive description and art. The roll that showed up has the same product number - 36336 - but the temperature range is -268 to 287 C. The art and the description say it is good to 1426 C. Please see actual art as attached
