Using to root another plant. Review: Nice to have fresh - I used this product I think for about 3-4 months. Bought around Sep. 2015. I am only reviewing now, Oct. 2016 because I found the desire to reuse the jars. The parsley was the most successful of all my 3 herb jars. Even after the initial run I put the herbs outside and all the water to dry up...only to have winter rain fill it up half way and I realized one day the little parleys plants overwintered and survived. Two plants had grown stocky and regrew and I think lasted a total of 6 months for me. I would pluck one plant heavily and let the other regrow. I had much garnish and salad toppings, it was great. My included photo is of all 3 of my herb jars, during Sep. 2015 before most of the herbs died off. I just recent rewashed all the components and as much of the white growing material, and cant wait to start using them again. Need more seeds and some coco fibers and it should work like last time, I hope. Its been raining but I have a sunny window as always with south facing sun. All. Day. Decided to buy the other herbs available, and I must say for the price Modern Sprouts charges they should provide more soil or coco pith. I can't say if they will sprout or not since I planted them yesterday, but I will update my review if and when they do. I had to run out and buy potting mix so I could plant them, and that's unacceptable. Get it together Modern Sprout and provide more soil.
