Defcon TD006 Fixed Blade 9.0 in D2 Blade G10 Handle Hunting-Fixed-Blade-Knives, Black

Definitely one of the best fixed blades I've purchased over the years. Well honed right out of the box and has a beautiful ergonomic grip that fits my hand like a glove. In my opinion it's the perfect size for an EDC fixed blade. Not so big that it becomes bulky and awkward to carry but large enough for the majority of tasks you'll encounter during the day. The belt clip on the Kydex sheath can be quickly and easily adjusted for a number of carry options.

What's Not to LOVE about Proelia? The razor-sharp D2 steel full tang over a quarter inch thick? The American made small time business churning out true quality products at a great price point? Maybe the scalloped handle slabs that fit so well with no hot spots, or it could be the sheat that rotates to any position required, retain the blade with no concern of it falling out or MAYBE.....its the fact id shit my pants if a soldier or swat officer pulled one out and said, "Let's Dance." I don't think not knowing how to dance is going to save your ass that time. Personally, I bought it just to watch my wife wear it scout style above those tight Levi's......still gotta remember to focus on the Levi's and not the knifes quality at times......I hope my wife doesn't read this.

surprisingly it is a fantastic carver. I used it up against my condor mini bushlore, and it did almost as well, but held an edge. after carving for about 15 minutes on hard dry wood it still shaved hair off my arm. I can't promise the heat treat on every knife is this good, but on mine it is.

Very sharp, d2 steel, awesome knife.

Mixed feeling...knife seems to be of good quality, spine is very thick, around 7 mm, knife came shaving sharp, and the knife is heavy. the only concern is that the blade is marked "D2"...D2 is an American steel, but...this knife made in China...is China produce D2 steel according to US specifications, use imported steel, or it is Chinese equivalent of D2? Another minus is no lanyard hole in the handle. There is one hole close to blade, but not the best for attaching lanyard.
