Cable Matters USB Hub with Ethernet

Having had another Ethernet connection which didn’t work with an OTG adaptor, this usb Ethernet hub workers as soon as I plugged it in. Tested the speed and works great. A just for higher broadband spores from this brand.

Made of plastic which seems quite durable the cable seems a thick gauge, not to flexible, which is probably a good thing as it will probably last long, all the USB ports were occupied, with passport HDD, keypad and other, with the Ethernet plugged in everything just worked fine no hitching or stutterer like the other USB type c, which I thought would of been better than normal this USB 3.0, hub I had to return, so top marks for my experience as it work just fine!

Used to give a hard wired Ethernet port to wireless only stick PC. Seems to work well, haven't checked Ethernet speed but it connects at 1Gbps.

This adapter works perfectly with Linux. Linux picks up all the USB sockets and the Ethernet adapter without issue. Good little adapter.

Plug and play out of the box. Ethernet + 3 USB ports on one stick - perfect.

I got this to connect directly to the router with my MacBook Air hoping to improve the line speed, but after running many speed tests I came to the conclusion that the wireless connection was much faster than the ethernet + this connector.

Lo compré para poder aumentar la velocidad de Red de una Sony A90J. Funciona sin problemas. Me llega el 100% de internet contratado, saltándome el límite de las tarjetas de red de las TV que limitan a 100Mbps. No lo necesitaba con conexiones USB extra, pero admito que les das uso con el tiempo así que aconsejo esta versión respecto a los que no tienen USB extra.

Works as advertised, connecting my internet cable to USB input. I bought a new computer with no port for cable connection, this solves the problem! A little blue light indicates its connected to my computer, a flashing green light indicates there is an internet connection. On top of that, there are three USB ports ! I would highly recommend.

I am a big fan of this USB hub. I got one for free at work and loved it so much that I bought a second one on Amazon. Cable Matters is my go-to for USB hubs! This little hub is compact and allows you to connect three USB devices and one Ethernet cable at the same time. I use it for my wireless mouse and to charge my phone, and I have even used all four ports simultaneously with no issues. It is super easy to use, just plug it into a USB port on your computer. Note that this version is not USB-C, so you would need a different version for that. It is very small, easy to carry in the pocket of my backpack, and extremely reliable. I have had it for three months with no connection or heat issues. Highly recommend for anyone who needs both a mouse and Ethernet connection on their laptop.
