Very cute story with great graphics, you know your child loves the story when they have the pages memorized.

Cute book, lovely pictures. The story is great for younger and older kids (up to 5 or 6). The only downside is (spoiler alert) my 3-year-old kept asking when we’d see the mermaid, and she’s never fully shown. You catch glimpses of her but no smiling, full image. My daughter still liked the book, but I see this as a miss for the younger audience.
