REDMOND Goat Mineral Rock on a Rope, Unrefined Salt (3-5 LB Rock)

Our goats love this mineral. It’s well balanced to supplement their grain and hay and pasture. Not a bad value for the money and does ship fast. We feed it free choice. I do wish it had some selenium in it as we are deficient in our area so I just supplement that separately. I’ve noticed healthier hair coats and better weight maintenance when I keep their mineral feeders full

Gettinf adequate minerals is essential to the health of every goat. Getting them in a balanced manner uncontaminated with processing is is a bonus. The natural ancient sea salt in Redmonds is the only way to go. My goats, bucks and doe(s), thrive with this product. Living in the dessert they crave the salt not only for the mineral but for the salt itself. I get gallons of healthy raw milk daily, used for all my dairy needs. The bonus is the improvement i have noticed in my pasture. I use the goat manure for fertilizer in my gardens and pasture. The land baked in the sun for decades, cleared of all weeds and other vegitation. I failed for 6 years trying to restore it without chemical fertilizer. I believe it is what has brought them back to life. I used to drive 80 miles to buy it. Being able to have to have this product delivered to my door is a game changer.

Goats are enjoying it. I dumped it all into a big bowl in the barn and they can eat it as they need. Makes it easy and no one seems to be overeating it, just enjoying it as they need to.

This is the only minerals that our goats will eat. They won’t take it from a feeder so I put it on the ground in the same place every time. They lick it right out of the dirt

I got this because of the high reviews, but my goats hate it. It takes me forever to get through a bag of this, they will eat other brands much faster.

My lactating goats have struggled for a few months with symptoms of mineral deficiency. I expected this to help them, but they hardly seem interested in it. I offer it free choice. I am surprised at the low copper content, and had I known prior to purchasing I wouldn't have. My goats show copper deficiency and I am searching for a different loose mineral in Canada that has a good copper content. "Master feeds" does have one and it's my next try. I hope this helps someone else who's searching for the right goat mineral. I spoke to Redmond Salt several times on the phone and they were extremely helpful. Their product just isn't what my goats need.

the goats are eating it and they seem to be healthy. see what happens at kidding time! my first year trying it!

Bought a little over a month ago, and so far so good. The goats seem it to like it. But it’s pretty darn expensive for what I thought would be a larger bag 🤷🏽‍♀️
