Unfortunately, this lamp stopped working after 3 months. It only works at 4000 lux but at 10000 lux it dims. There was no damage to the lamp. I just noticed it happening progressively more over the last month or two, and now, it happens all the time. Such a pity, because I did like this product alot and use other therapy lamps but this one, unfortunately, is not worth the price.

I purchased this light therapy lamp about six weeks ago to help with winter blues and low energy during darker months. The lamp arrived in a compact box with the light unit, USB cable, adjustable stand, and instruction manual included. Setup was straightforward - attach the stand to the back of the lamp and plug in the USB cable to a power adapter. Important note: the product requires a 5V-2A adapter which isn’t included, and using a lower amperage adapter like 5V-1A can cause malfunctions. I’m using a standard phone charger adapter that meets the 2A requirement and it works fine. The three brightness modes provide good flexibility. The 4000 lux setting is gentle for initial use or evening sessions, 7000 lux is a nice middle option, and the 10000 lux maximum setting is very bright and energizing for morning use. The gradual brightness increase when turning it on is a nice touch that prevents harsh sudden light. The memory function works well - when I turn it on it remembers my last used setting which saves time. The timer options of 30, 60, or 90 minutes are convenient for scheduling sessions. I typically use the 30 minute setting in the morning while having breakfast and reading. The adjustable stand allows me to angle the lamp toward my face at different positions which is helpful for getting the right light exposure. The slim design doesn’t take up much desk space. However, after running on the highest brightness setting for 30+ minutes, the lamp gets noticeably warm to the touch. Not hot enough to be concerning but warmer than expected. The 100 LED setup does provide flicker-free bright light without harsh glare or hot spots as claimed. The light quality is pleasant and doesn’t strain my eyes. The 49 inch USB cable provides decent length for positioning flexibility on my desk or table. After six weeks of regular morning use I have noticed feeling more alert and energized during the darker winter mornings. Overall this is a functional light therapy lamp with useful features and good brightness options. Just be aware of the adapter requirements and that it warms up during extended use at high brightness

Purchased mine in 2023 and have used it daily in the winter months. Never had an issue with it. I have the USB one not the rechargeable one. There is three options one with a plug, a rechargeable or a simple usb. I think lots of the bad reviews are because the wrong one was purchased. But I’ve had my 3 years and it works great I use it sitting at my desk so it’s very easy to plug into my laptop or even the usb port on my nightside table. I’ve taken with me on vacation and I just use a portable power bank. (If you are buying the USB one note it only comes with a USB cord which is fine with me.)
