First time Truck Owner, and first time towing, having this mount ball hitch was a life saver. I could adjust the height according to the trailer height, the ride was smoot and no rattling was heard during a 8 hour drive. The finish is great and sturdy, it has 3 height position and 2 ball sizes which made adjustments easy.

After use, black paint on top of ball is stripped. Rust is appearing- only after a couple weeks of use.

Love the durable and look of the hitch

These hitches don't come built any better than this one. This is made to haul loads and last several lifetimes. Beautiful fabrication and a great design. I have a large tilting utility trailer that I tow behind a Ford F-350. My Kubota backhoe rides in the trailer. I've always been concerned about the hitch/ball compared to the rest of the towing outfit. My old hitch was definitely the weak link and I was fairly certain that the day would come when I'd hear a loud "pop" and then watch my backhoe and trailer pass me on the highway. I have three different vehicles that I pull trailers with. A compact pick up, an SUV and an F350 with a 6 inch lift kit on it. That is a wide variety of vehicle heights that I have to accommodate with trailer hitches. I also have three different types of trailers that I pull. A 10 foot aluminum trailer that I put my two Harleys on, a 35 foot flatbed that I haul ATVs and tractors on, and a hydraulic dump trailer for firewood and construction debris. as you can imagine, with those different vehicles and those very different trailers, I have a lot of different hitches laying around in the back of all of my vehicles. I require a variety of different sized balls on straight hitches and drop hitches. I’m constantly looking behind seats for the right hitch to fit a particular trailer to a vehicle. I do have one other adjustable hitch like this however with that one, it requires wrenches to remove and adjust the height of the ball. As you can imagine, it’s not worth the hassle and I never bother to adjust it. It stays with one vehicle to accommodate one specific trailer. This bulletproof hitch is so easy to adjust by merely pulling the key and moving the pin upper down, it will make my life much easier. It also has the two most common size balls on it so you don’t have to switch hitches just to accommodate a different sized ball. You simply pull the pin, flip the ball upside down, and reinsert the pin. Piece of cake! This is a very well built and quality hitch. The ease of adjusting the height is amazingly simple. I can move this from one vehicle to another, switch trailers, and adjust the height in literally seconds. The best thing about this, it’s American made! I looked the company up and they are based out of Florida. It’s so hard to find American made products anymore. This is a great hitch. It’s going to allow me to get rid of some of my other hitches and simplify. Why didn’t I look for one of these years earlier? I absolutely love this product, I think it is a very fair price and has a high enough weight rating to accommodate any need that I am going to have for it. As an added bonus, because of its ability to drop down, when I am using my small Polaris Ranger I can flip this upside down and actually use it as a lift hitch to haul a trailer with my side-by-side. Pulling a trailer with the side by side is generally difficult because it’s so low, but this will work in reverse, allowing you to raise a trailer as opposed to dropping it.

It is solid and works well but there is a lot of play where the ball attaches to the hitch.
