For the quantity of light that you need, especially if you are wanting to illuminate a large area, this is just too small. I will skip the physics and math regarding "Luminosity" as there is signifcant differences between something that is "Direct View" (which is what this material is inteded to be used for.), and Illumination (Which is what you are wanting to do.); you would be better off with mirrors or battery powered lanterns.
