Probably The Best Universal Tablet Stand Available Right Now
Finally! A tablet stand with some heft and intelligently designed. I have tried several stands for my tablet, which has a charging port on the bottom edge, but when the tablet is in the stand, I either can't connect the charging cable at all, or it has a severe bend in it if I can, which will eventually damage either the cable or the connector on the tablet itself. This stand keeps the bottom edge at least 3 inches or so from the rubberized tray area, so you can connect the charging cable and not worry about too much tension or over-bending.Also, the rubberized tray area is handy for things like a stylus, phone, pen, etc. The base is weighted, so it won't move around unless you give it quite a shove. That also allows you to tap on the tablet while its in the stand without tipping it over or pushing it all over your desk or table. Both the tablet cradle and the arm that connects the cradle to the base are adjustable, and with good tension so it's not going to flop around or be weighed down by the table, no matter how heavy yours might be.It's a little pricey, but for my purposes, it was an acceptable tradeoff considering my dissatisfaction with the other 4-5 I bought and didn't like, and that are now decorating various areas of my home.

Great stand when no specific stand available from the manufacturer
I like this stand very much. I am using it with a 12" Android tablet. It has a good weight to it and is very stable. I was used to other tables that had a desk stand with a power output built into the stand. My tablet didn't have such a stand and the power is not is a good spot for that anyway. It comes with various sized rubber (non-scratching) covers that go around the bottom part of the holder where the tablet rests. You pick the correct size so that it is snug based upon the width of your tablet. This keeps it in place pretty well. I have mine setup up so the table is almost vertical. Even with the rubber feet it doesn't take too much of a nudge to tip the tablet out of the stand. I added a little Velcro on the back and now it is very secure. I leave the tablet in the stand nearly all the time and so that didn't bother me. I would recommend this to anyone who can't get a more custom OEM desktop stand. Although I didn't try them, it seem more stable looking than many of the others I was considering.

Was Sent a Different Stand than the One in the Product Photo
The stand I received does not physically match the one in the picture above. I was sent an alternative product that is not as good! The unit I received does not have the divided compartments on the base to hold other small objects; just a single, slightly hollowed out space (which is where I've set my tablet's cleaning cloth). Also, and this a serious negative, the stand I was sent does NOT height adjust. It only angles variably. I've developed some neck problems from tilting my head forward reading tablets so much. It was therefore vital for me to be able to raise my tablet to a comfortable level as well as to rotate it bottom up/down to a good angle for my eyes. For the price of this unit, I'd suggest you not buy this product for its angle adjustment only. The plus side is that this substitute product is very compact and the base is solid, and doesn't feel as though the tablet (Kindle Fire HD 7") will topple over.

Love
Love it.. Wish it was taller. It can tilt frontward or backward, just unable to lift up higher, that would have made it perfect

Exactly What I was Looking For
I have been looking for quite some time for a solid desk stand for my Samsung ATIV 700T. The problem has been a lot of these "Universal" stands have been made for iPad, iPad, and iPad. Itโs sickening how many manufacturers are focusing support of one product. However, i can tell you that this fits the ATIV 700T flawlessly. If you have been looking for a cheaper solid stand then buy this now. As far as cases go if you are looking to use it while on the stand be aware that not all will fit. I own both the Poetic silicone cover and Samsung's ATIV book case. The Poetic does not fit, maybe a few centimeters thicker, but the book cover fits no problem. The stand also features 3 different pivot points on the arm. One at the base, the mid arm, and again at the holder. Very adjustable for whatever angle you are hoping for.The only negative is if you are looking to use the stand with portrait viewing, I will say it will work, but we warned that doing this will place the backing less than mid-way up on the backing. It can work, but i just wouldnโt recommend it.

An essential piece of equipment for tablets/ipads/Notes
I had looked around for a more ergonomical way to use my Sansaung Galaxy Note 10.1' whilst at home.I had bought a cover that can be folded a certain way so that the tablet can stand up but it was still too low on the table and my neck was uncomfortable having to look down all the time. This stand provides a more comfortable working height for any tablet and can hold an sized tablet even with a cover on it.The only downfall to this stand that I found (and why it didn't get 5 stars) is that when you put the tablet in portrait position rather than landscape, the stand can feel a bit unstable when you touch the screen. It just gets a bit wobbly. But when it is in landscape position it works perfectly.Very happy with the price and product :)

If don't knock it from side is good
I kind of like the open stand bottom unlike the compartments in the photo. Same base just without the divider sections. As long as don't knock it - is fine. Looks good, can "finger" or polk it without knocking since firm on back side. However, with no horizontal support it is easy to accidently knock it over if not comfortable when move things around or move it.Angle etc seem all good for my use on a Asus 10" Transformer pad
