All of the other Pelican cooler than i have received have been made in the USA but this one the box said MADE IN CHINA.

The site lists the dimensions as 42.91 x 20.75 x 20.25 inches. is this accurate? does not seem correct for a 14qt cooler.

The outside dimension are 16" wide x 10.5" deep x 12.25" tall. The width and depth measurements were taken on the lid.

Can the carry handle be removed?

Yes, you can remove the handle. There is an hexagon screw/bolt that connects the handle to the cooler. I hope this helps!
